What about the King of Queens? I thought it was about a gay bloke.... I guess the term 'queen' has a different meaning here in the UK?

Same meaning in the US, but Queens is also one of the five boroughs of New York City.

OT: The only celeb I've ever seen is Ronnie Lott (Hall of Fame football player) at SJC.

My wife and I sat next to Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin in the bulkhead of FC DCA-DFW.

Same trip, on return, ran into Bobby Bonilla at the Hertz counter returning my car at TUC.

Same trip, TUC-DFW, sat behind Len Mattice (PGA tour) in FC, and Woody Austin (PGA) sat in the back of the bus.

Same trip, DFW-DCA, sat in front of Sen & Mrs Jon Kyle (R-AZ) and Rep. & Mrs. Sam Johnson (R-X) in FC.

Same trip saw Cheryl Miller in the DFW terminal.

All other trips over the years, n one famous, but that one trip in Feb of this year, all at once.

New York - LGA to Chicago - Elvis Stoiyko (spellinging??) the canadian skater, who won a silver will a pulled groin muscle, (that seems very painful to me). Boy he is a lot shorter than I expected.

Chicago - Dallas - Stanley Marcus, Neimen Marcus founder, boy he was old, he pass away about a year after I saw him.

Toronto - LAX - Donald Sutherland, boy his voice is one you can't miss, I heard him before I saw him.

Celebrity must 1) Fly themselves (or get a private plane), 2) eat themselves (although some don't obviously do much of that, or 3) Use the Toilets themselves. So look at the Airport, Restaurants and don't forget to check the restrooms.

As previously posted in a similar thread...

The LAX-JFK route is chock full of celebs. I've sat next to or near a few over the past couple of years: Farrah Fawcett, Cher, Sandra Bullock, Courtney Cox-Arquette, William Baldwin, Grace Jones, Tom Brokaw, Marlowe Thomas. On different routes, I've had flights with Rosie O'Donnell, Ann Richards (then governor of Texas), Troy Aikman, Pete Sampras.
Nicest were Ann Richards and Tom Brokaw. Rudest by a landslide was Marlowe Thomas - she got in a big argument with a FA about who was going to put her carryons in the overhead.

Weirdest was definitely Farrah Fawcett. For the whole flight, she'd argue with her assistant for about 15 minutes and then stalk off to the lavatory. After about 20 minutes, the assistant would go knock on the door and beg her to come out, and after 10 minutes of that Farrah would return to her seat. Then the whole thing would start over again!

Oh, I almost forgot. Last March I flew JFK-LHR on AA with Fergie. She boarded at the last minute, slept the whole way, and was escorted from the plane by security. When we were all standing up to deplane, though, she bashed my friend in the head with her carry-on! She was quite apologetic, though my friend was too thrilled to need an apology... Fergie might not be a princess anymore, but she still gets to bypass immigration and customs. Her people led her down the jetway stairs to a waiting car with police escort and off they went.

More recently, sat behind Liza and her new husband and across the aisle from Dionne Warwick on a redeye LAX-JFK. They didn't even acknowledge each other, but then I saw a newspaper item about Dionne being at the Liza wedding just a few days later. Kinda weird...

Last month, Donna Hanover (Giuliani) and her kids were on a redeye LGB-JFK with several bodyguards. They sat in Y but filled the F bins with their carryons when they were preboarded.

Shakira, on a flight from Bogota to Miami (business class and I was next to her).
Goldie Hawn --> LAX-JFK
Chayanne (in first)Red eye from LAX-MIA also on the same row
Michael Johnson (Basketball)- San Francisco - LAX.

The main actor from The Pretender AC in LAX
English singer (from Roling Stones?) From MIA to Madrid - in first class.

Sat next to Aaron Spelling the day Lady Di had the accident from LAX to LHR (in first)

one of the main characters from Seinfeld (George) - same hotel in Maui last Christmas, with his family.

The big guy (police in NYPD Blue) making a line at the SBA airport.
