Unfortunately its almost impossible to get F award seats on LAX/JFK and the only hopes are ORD and IAD where only one ORD route is guaranteed for IOJ seats at this moment.
The IOJ aircraft appear to be operating on all routes except NH1/2 (IAD), NH1011/NH1012 (ORD), and NH205/206 (CDG).

Unless FlightData24 is incorrect, NH1/2 has been operated by non-IOH 773s since mid-December. Were you on board during this time? It would be good to know if the data is incorrect so I can update the Master Thread.

Yes, NH1009/1010 appear to be operated entirely by IOJ-outfitted 77Ws.

So I would think that ANA is not planning on keeping just three routes with old equipment any longer than necessary. Does anyone really know what their conversion schedule looks like?

I was not on board during that time, but I am booked on it next month. When I looked at NH's page, it showed the 773 every day up until about today, and then alternating the 773 and 77W every other day. The 77W days still list the 773 seat map, but appear to be updating about 10 days in advance. When I look at my reservation, it says the seat map will be changing, and the rep said the same thing when I called.

I am also scheduled on this next month and it has been scheduled for the IOJ 77W ever since I booked and still today. So even then should I be expecting a non IOJ flight?

I don't think there is anything to worry about. Mine is scheduled for 77W but has 773 seat map, but I expect it to change to the 77W seat map. I assume you are flying on an even numbered day next month?

Yes, that is correct. I am a big IFE person. So I am excited most just for the much larger monitor.

The wrong seat map for the 77W is probably just a programming issue on ANA's site. They probably couldn't load 2 different seatmaps (for alternating days) for the same flight. I'm booked on a 77W later this month too; kinda annoying not being able to pick the exact seat.

I just noticed that to as im flying new F next month myself as its the old seats on the map.

Also strange thing I came across under status on the ANA seat request page it said "requested". What does that mean? Shouldnt it say confirmed?

I'm flying in April (NRT - IAD) and mine still shows as a 777 on the ANA website with the old seat-map showing. Interestingly when I look at NRT - IAD via the ANA tool it lists the 77W through the end of March and then switches to the 777.

According to flightmapper the 77W will be there through the end of March and then it's back to the 777 effective 3/30 so it looks like they are pulling it off of NRT - IAD at the end of March assuming they don't revise this over the next few weeks

http://info.flightmapper.net/route/ANA_NH_NRT_IAD

Daily 11:05 Narita, Tokyo (NRT) 1 10:40 Dulles, Washington (IAD)
ANA NH 2 Non-stop Boeing 777 (777) 12:35 Effective from 2014-03-30

It seems odd that they would go from intermittent 77W service to daily77W service for a couple months then suddenly go back to all non-77W service. Wouldn't it be more likely they just haven't updated their equipment intentions beyond 3/30 yet?

+1 Do not see 77w from IAD anytime past 3/31/14 Did you see 3/31/14 when you checked?

It's definitely odd and definitely possible they haven't updated their equipment intentions (I'm certainly hoping that's the case though I don't particularly mind either way - especially since right now my flight is showing my seat and 1A blocked so I'll take either F with a load like that).

Are there any new routes (or additional frequencies to existing routes) starting April 1 that would be taking the 773?

ANA IAD-NRT seat types: 777-300ER

NH is shifting some European service from NRT to HND, adjusting timings which will affect how 773s/77Ws are used systemwide.

Certainly ANA doesn't intend to leave two of their long haul transpacific routes on 777's with the old configuration in perpetuity after upgrading all the others? I would think their goal is a consistent business class product on all their long haul routes, especially with the new J class standard being a full flat seat. Assuming this, does anyone have any idea of their timetable for completing the conversion, or is it all just speculation?

777-300ER back starting 9/1/2014?

I was looking at the ANA award search tool and it looks like NH1 IAD-NRT is switching back to 77W starting on 9/1/2014? I hope I'm reading that right... I'm flying in F on 9/2/14!
