I have noticed an increase in being turned away with Lounge Key, which I do get through my bank. I would say the lounges have been busy but not enough for there to be a space or capacity issue and most rarely stay for the full three hours. Admittedly I am often a solo traveller and I suspect lounges are prioritising groups, rather than discriminating on other factors.
I just tried to pre book for a trip to Oslo in Feb from Gatwick South to avoid being turned away. Only one lounge let me book but it is a pretty poor service, I might as well book directly without using my lounge key. |

A friend just emailed me from Beijing and was disappointed to find that there are no Priority Pass or American Express lounges open in the International Terminal.

that is either an error or a recent change. The CA lounges in PEK (incl F) were accessible until recently

I thought I took a pic, but didn't find it. I am fairly certain that I saw a sign at the T3 CA lounge that stated PP would no longer be accepted after an upcoming date.

No more lounges in Morocco
Today I found out the hard way that all lounges in Morocco have been closed as of January 1.The app has not been updated. Apparently they put a notice on their website, but who reads it?
I have PP thru C1 Venture X, but the program is constantly being devalued. |
Completely useless at LAX. I even tried the gaming room but the owner has something against Priority Passes from Amex or Cap1 for some reason.

I was in Saudi Arabia Damman airport, flying domestic. On the PP app, it clearly state that Wellcome Lounge is part of the program.
I'm holding PP while my partner is holding DragonPass, however I was denied entry, as the staff clearly state that PP is no longer in partnership. I send an email to PP asking them to update it on their apps and website (remove Wellcome Lounge), and below is their response. Hi XXX, Thank you for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear you were denied access to the lounge. I can confirm that Wellcome Lounge in Dammam Airport is in partnership with Priority Pass, however, this lounge accommodates Domestic flights only. Kindly give us a call when you visit this lounge again, we will speak with the lounge staff. If we can help with anything else, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
Lounge at CTA is closed for renovation until May and no alternative is provided. There is a landside ITA Airways lounge but they do not accept PP. Only hot water comes out of the taps in this airport. PP customers are left stranded and forced to pay for water.

I’ve noticed the same with Priority Pass too crowded and not enough lounges in big airports like LAX or ATL. It’s frustrating! I’ve used their restaurant credits sometimes, but it’s not the same. Anyone else finding it less useful?

Was it listed in the PP app when you logged in with the appropriate account? Honestly, it's like saying that the restaurants have something against Chase cardholders.

 It's not the owner - I'm sure they would be thrilled to get the Priority Pass revenue for their gaming lounge. Amex and Capital One decided they would stop paying for access to "non-lounge" experiences, including restaurants and the gaming lounges.

Basically the options to get PP Restaurants from credit cards is through U.S. Bank (Altitude Reserve or Connect, limited # uses) or BofA PRE. Feel free to chime in if there are other cards out there.
