So, hell froze over as I'm somehow in the Swissport lounge with PP. The selection is even more limited than when I was in here last. The section on the left that had fresh fruit is gone..just the fridge and the back section with liquor, oatmeal, oranges, hot water soup and packaged Muffins. They do have grey goose.
It's slow so there must be few international flights must not be scheduled right now that would normally have people in here. Edit: There were cold tiny sandwiches in the fridge and one Stella Artois which I snagged. No diet coke. Seems like they are slow refilling the fridge. |

I wonder how much these four things would cost if you were to purchase them in the terminal at O'Hare. I'm thinking at least $25, and probably more than that. And of course you can go back for more.
It seems Priority Pass was not essentially worthless to you today. I had more than what was pictured so yeah, I finally got some value. My haul was that I had 4 of those sandwiches, a package of peanut butter crackers, one Stella, one glass Merlot, two shots worth of cognac, 4 cans of la Croix, one can tomato juice. If I hadn't eaten, I'd be starving now. I misconnected in PHL and am stuck in DEN for 11 hours. CSR benefit won't apply bc the delay was due to some construction on the PHL runway that halted all incoming flights for 45 mins Wed. To bad I have no access here in DEN to anything anymore. I actually screwed up my rebooking. I should have done PHL-DFW-LAS and spent 8 hours in PHL and slept on the plane and had PP in DFW for three hours. I suppose I could have tried Minute Suites and the massage chair benefit in PHL too. At least I proactively had my flight options pulled up. F9 agent was originally going to book me on PHL-DEN that I was on, and then a DEN-LAS in the afternoon instead of at 10am. |

Perhaps you could consider the Capital One Venture X, its annual fee is quite low, includes Priority Pass, a separate Plaza Premium membership (which I've gotten additional benefits in Plaza Premium lounges versus using my Priority Pass), and C1 has a relatively decent lounge in DEN. Right now they're DEN, IAD and DFW I believe, but they're adding other locations as time goes on (Edit: Website says DCA, LGA, JFK, LAS are coming soon.) Definitely worth it if you routinely fly through DFW or DEN.
I definitely wish I had it now. 3 more hours here. I dozed off for a half hour at this gate that's under construction. |

That said I am sure there are many like myself who have multiple cards that provide PP memberships, so it's no longer a selling point for me, unless it cover PP restaurants (which few do now) |

But it was to a parade of other equally credentialed applicants. Holding one winning keno ticket is not an argument ror playing keno to get rich.

At risk of cross posting but another pathetic lounge at SJC to add to the list (near Gate 8).
I have about 4 cards w PP lounge access options so I’m now valuing this benefit at near $0. I can’t believe anybody in USA would pay $$$ to PP every year unless they have heavy international travel. |

It seems like Air China lounges at PEK are no longer part of PP (at least they don't appear in the app). At PEK T3 only the "BGS Premier Lounge" is left but it is reported as temporarily closed on LoungeBuddy and plazapremiumlounge.com (not on PP though)

Well, to go against the grain here.. the Aspire Lounge in T2 at MAN, the last two times I have been here has been a charm.
Pleasant staff, decent drinks and a chill atmosphere. Got in no issues, with a very pleasant check in person and spent a pleasant couple of hours. For reference 10.50am on a weekday. (Have given up on the other PP lounges at MAN I have to admit.. this is smaller and always has been more friendly.) |
Seeking Clarification on Priority Pass wrt Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounges
For holders of Priority Pass but not Chase Sapphire Reserve, what is the entry policy? Is it 1x per year per card?
Cheers, NWAT |

Everybody in my family has a priority pass free from my Chase Ritz-Carlton credit card with unlimited entries and unlimited guests.
Edit: The only restriction is one entry every three hours. If I travel with my family, that is not a problem. If I don't a a lounge, I can go to another lounge with other family member's card. We enjoyed our priority pass membership a lot. I don't understand why people think it is useless. |
