Comparison of the QF and NZ from Aussie perspective

Just received this comparison on NZ flight to NYC and the soon to launch QF one, they are writing from the perspective of a pax leaving from AU.

They like NZ lounges and dont like the seats.

One issue that could be critical for some people is the baggage limit.

Do Air NZ even allow more than one bag per person on the return flight now? QF are pitching 32kg per person in economy..

How are they able to do this wont they have the same range issues and weight?

Lower density configuration.
Different engine which are possibly a couple of percentage more efficient.
Also don't know how many seats QF will block.

This is key here. Most people are assuming QF will fly full planes because they already have a lower density 789 but that's not a given. It's going to be very interesting to see how many seats they block.
