1. I sat one row back from Bush 1 & Barbara. I scolded him for not doing Iraq correctly the first time while he was President.
2. I sat one row back from Lee Brown, former mayor of Houston. I was the only one who said hello to him. He's not well liked here. I don't like him either, but hell, he's a celebrity.
3. Ran into Dave Matthews at Hobby Airport. He was getting out of a limo and picking up some kid, about 12 years old.
4. Ran into Jacqueline Smith at Hobby airport, she actually did a double-take and winked at me. She must have been between husbands, or maybe not. She was here in Houston doing some K-Mart stuff.
5. Otis Thorpe rode on plane with me. He's been traded, don't know what team he plays for now, or if he's even playing. I was more interested in the long-legged blonde riding with him. What a babe!
6. My wife keeps running into John Paul Mitchell, the long-haired, pony-tailed, bearded hair dresser with the shampoo company. I'm getting suspicious.

P.S. When I travel to Europe or Africa, I am told I look like Jose Mourinho, coach of Chelsea Futbol. Handsome somofabeeotch ain't he?

I recognised the face but couldn't think who he was when I saw him.

I was on an AA flight in first- from iad- lax and had a nice conversation with John Dean- of Watergate fame- and his lovely wife Mo. Senator George murphy was also on the flight. A dc-10, like a big celeb party, this was.... in 1973 !!!!!

My husband & I sat across from John McEnroe on a JFK-AMS flight; he looked like he was going to AMS to play at an exhibition nearby. Didn't bother the poor guy as he didn't look like he was in the mood to socialise. Bumped his head coming out of the loo.

1.5 year ago, after CDG-BOS, I was just behind Cédric Pioline (former french tennis player) being checked at the immigration counter at BOS and the officer was telling him he didn't have the appropriate visa to attend a professional tournament!

On way back from JFK via CDG to NCL (21st November) saw two celebrities or rather well known persons:

1. Gérard Depardieu - being escorted through security at Terminal 2F

2. Pierluigi Collina - Italian football referee - unmistakable - bald head - currently advertising Vauxhall (Opel) cars in UK. In the AF lounge at 2F

Tim McGraw on a NW redeye from Las to MSP some years ago in F he was in row 4 I was in row 1. Wasn't sure and asked the flght att. and she didn't know him but checked the pax list and there was his name. He was with a guard or friend and slept most of the flight. Asked him for a quick picture in MSP and his guard took one of me and him. Felt a bit bad to ask him after the redeye but he was very friendly !!!

Rutger Hauer at LAX KLM Lounge. I think he was with his mother (the time you could pass security without a boarding pass). The lady flew on the same flight in the upper deck to AMS, he just brought her to the gate.

Rezzo Schlauch from the green party in Germany in LH C from Stuttgart to Berlin. He dissappeared in the cockpit for the last 20 min of the flight ??? I found that strange.

I agree, cause he hardly fits into a cockpit it seems...

Since I avoid AF whenever possible I can only remember to see Bodo Illgner ( Goalie of Germany in 1990 winning the WC...) and his infamous wife once a decade ago on a CDG-DUS service....

I was sitting next to Pierre Richard (French actor) in the Aerolinas Argentina / AF shared lounge in GRU at the beginning of this month (Jan 2006)

I spotted Noel Mamere (French green party politician) going through immigration at CDG this month as well...

- Christopher Reeve (Superman) on a "C" class BA flight to Barcelona, of course before his tragic accident. He was going to do a commercial for a local wine company.

- Sacha Distel and Mrs in departure at CDG2 going to LHR.

- Andrew Lloyd Webber being escorted to the plane from the Concorde lounge at LHR 4 (looked much under the influence of alcool already)

- Stelios Hajji Iounnou from Easyjet in Cannes in Summer 05 (got my photo taken with him)

And more I cannot remember

So, mainly between CDG and LAX, over the past 4 years (sorry guys, but only french celeb...):

- Jean-Jacques Annaud,

- Jean-Hugues Anglade (was sitted next to me at the lounge in LAX, but couldn't put a name on this face up to I eared him talking french...),

- Patrick Bruel (while boarding, someone I knew the voice was just behind me talking on the phone...),

- Michel Platini (at the lounge),

- Jean-Marc Morandini (OK, OK, Low celeb...),

- KYO.

This is the advantage of this CDG-LAX route...

- Roland Magdane (hey, he's back...) on a CDG-TLS.
