F-GZCC is indicated in the wiki as being retrofitted. But FR24 is showing it flying everyday recently (to LFW and DEL). Can we deduct that it is now retrofitted ?
Also, F-GZCO is currently not flying. Could it be an indication that the retrofit is on-going ?

Wikipedia indicates A, F, I, K, M and O as being retrofitted.
https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List...Boeing_787_(9)
Our wiki doesn’t show M and O as being retrofitted. As I was saying in my previous post, O is not flying at the moment so I think the retrofit is on-going. What about M ?
We know that Wikipedia is not always reliable, so that’s why I am prudent.

I have just flown CDG-SEA on F-GZCI.
Very nice-looking Y cabin with pleasant colors but:
- interactive moving map didn’t work (very frustrating on a 10-hour flight)
- problem of connection with earphones. The earphones provided by AF didn’t work (you could only hear from one ear). It was like this in all the cabin. The passengers which had their one earphones didn’t have problems.
- recline of the seat was too important. So when the passenger in front of you reclines his seat, it gets very claustrophobic (and I am used to fly in Y). This kind of recline would be perfect for 34/35” pitch.
Crew was subpar compared to usual.
The captain gave almost no indication during all the flight.

I just looked at FR24 and saw that it is flying to DFW today and a dummy booking on the return flight shows the new cabin layout. So M is now confirmed. I will update the wiki.

Confirmed with some AF sources :
- retrofitted : A, F, I, K, M. So C is not is retrofitted
- retrofit on-going : O (as we expected). Delivery due 21 or 22 AUG
- Remaining 9 will be retrofitted between SEPT and MAR 2020
- Wifi : planes are equipped and connected whith the retrofit. Note that M is experiencing problems for the wifi, as well as F (I flew F this week and there was no wifi although it seems equipped judging by the typical bump on the top of the fuselage).

New AF A332 retrofit
Dear all
here is my review and picture of the new seats in the A332, focused on J-class. It was on F-GZCK ORD-CDG AF153
The great contractor staff at ORD asked me (as Ulti benefit) if I wanted to pre-board and I said yes telling them that it was the 1st time I would fly the new cabin so I'd like to take pictures while there is no pax. Message well understood and I was escorted from lounge to plane about 10 min before starting of general boarding. ^
The different cabins look very nice with modern light and fresh colors.
W cabin
Y cabin
J cabin
The pictures are self-explanatory for most of them. I found the cabin quite nice. The configuration in 2-2-2 was a disappointment for most of us when it was announced, but once you passed that, I think they did a great job in the choice of seats and equipments.
The seat has a nice light color, but one major inconvenient of that is that they are already stained as you can see on some pictures. As reported previously, in lying position, the place where you put your feet is small (likely due to the engine of the seat in front of you), but it never bothered me TBH.
The seatbelt is a 3 points one. The shoulder belt is to be used only during taxi, take off and landing. I am glad this is the case as the shoulder belt is not very pleasant to wear (impression of “cutting” your neck).
There is a retractable divider between the 2 seats to ensure privacy for the window seat pax.
The tablet is large enough to have a laptop and glasses or telephone. The tablet can be turned if you want to stand up and leave your seat.
In term of storage, there is a small compartment on the seat side where you have the power ports and the headset. You can put your glasses (if you were some !), eventually an iPad vertically but that’s all). They put the water bottle here, but it may fall on you during the night in case of turbulence (that has happened to me).
The main storage place is under the screen. You cannot store as much as in the B777 BEST seat, but you have enough room for store for instance a small pouch and your phone, and keys, etc. The door of this storage place can be used to put a glass.
The screen is of great quality, much better than in the B777 BEST seat. It is a touch screen but you can also use the remote control which is very simple and easy to use. The remote control is displaying the route you're flying and what time it is. During my flight, the Geovision system (or whatever they call it now) got broken 10 min after take off. More movies, TV show, music selection than on the B777 IFE.
The comfort of the seat was top and I slept very well in. It seemed to me slightly wider at the shoulder level than in the B777 BEST seat. Overall, I would rate it slightly more comfortable than the BEST seat.
The coat hanger is also new : no more paper label with your seat number but 3 scroll wheels to indicate the seat number.
To finish with the toilets : there is now only 1 toilet for the whole J cabin and this is clearly not enough. But now you have a window
In conclusion, one can certainly regret the 2-2-2 config versus the 1-2-1, but they have made a great job choosing this seat which is very comfortable and this is huge improvement compared to the NEV4 seat.

Bulkheads more legroom?
Great review and pics, thx! Did you notice if the bulkhead seats have any additional room in the footwell compared to non-bulkhead, like on many lie-flat seats?

No difference between bulkhead and other rows (like for the BEST seats). You can see that in pictures No11 (bulkhead) and 12 (row 2) of the J class section of my review.
