Really needs to be pushed back by another couple of hours.
agreed but you have much more connection possibilities in CDG.

Still much better than their YVR departure (13:30), the DL departure (13:20) and AC's new YVR-CDG (another 13:30).

Thanks for the info.

shouldn't we give this thread a new title, like "AF 787 master thread", as we don't talk anymore about the 787 config

I'm apparently flying it back Dec 23 on the CDG-BOS route. Interested to see what it's like. Incidentally, also flying the 787 SFO-AMS on the inbound (if I am lucky and it doesn't get cancelled like it always does )

And YUL will continue during the summer season on one of the 3 daily flights.

I still don’t know how they will manage to serve all those announced routes with so few aircrafts.

I hope they will order more 787s, and that AF will take some 78Js

On the LYS->CDG flight with the B787-900, shortly before landing, we could hear this anouncement:
PNC, préparez-vous à l'atterrissage du Padawan

AF has just received its 5th B787 (F-HRBE)
For the 2018 summer season, the 787 destinations will be : BKO continuing service to ABJ (note : this is not the non-stop A388 service to ABJ), NBO (new service), KIX, YUL, BOG, CAN.
Details here :

The daylight GRU rotation was announced a few months ago too, but they have reverted it back to a B772.

Flight AF377 DTW-CDG in December 2018: during booking it said it would be the B777, now it says online it is a B789. Checking the flights the last couple of days it was always the B777. Is it true that it will shift to B789 during winter?

I flew the route twice recently and I had once the B772 and once the B789.
