Was just checking out prices to try it out 
AMS-LHR-CDG-AMS all in Z quotes for ~460€ in ITA Matrix, and can be booked on AF website and some OTAs, possible to day a same-day "return" but also includes unlimited stop-overs, might give it a try

Just bought a return ticket from CDG to LHR for €310 in J, on the 789 flights.
Seems like a great deal to me for a J class ticket in Europe.

Any other FT'ers on Monday's flight CDG-LHR?
Not sure if we will get a water cannon salute. LHR does not see many 787-9s at all.
The Jetscope Production folks will be there for the landing. They might do a live streaming on their Facebook page.

If anyone is going to Barcelona soon, Air France will operate two flights with the 787 on the 27th of February and 3rd of March (Capacity increase for MWC):

Big Jet Productions will be bringing our viewers a special LIVE 'Airside' feature on Monday the 6th Feb at Approx 09:00 (GMT) from London Heathrow, with Air France's 787-9 Dreamliner Reg: F-HRBA, making its inaugural flight into LHR.
We'll be live on the Apron as the Dreamliner taxis to its gate at Terminal 4. Then, once the engines have shut-down, we'll take a close-up 'walk-around' look at the outside of this beautiful aircraft.
Then we'll be heading inside AF789 for a special live guided-tour, looking at the plush, ultra modern cabin.
So set your alarms and make a space in your day for our first 'Airside' show

Well...the single B787 of AF went tech in CAI yesterday arriving from CDG. The return flight (AF567) CAI-CDG last night has been cancelled for that reason.

New B789 route just announced for next winter season : BKO-ABJ (this is for the continuation flight CDG-BKO-ABJ and not for the non-stop CDG-ABJ). This replaces the current B772 service.
