Tonight overnight is -24 and there is 10-15cm of snow on Sunday. I know for most of Canada, that wouldn't register a blip on the radar but the GTA...they might as well lock down the city and call in the army.

I'm going through YUL on Sunday. I guess we will see if it stays intact but so far they haven't started cancellations - given that YOW and YUL aren't forecast to get a lot of snow and we're used to colder temperatures maybe we'll be better off than YYZ.

Where are you flying to? I suspect most cancellations will domestic and Transborder and they'll keep as much TATL traffic as possible. Maybe even drive to YUL (I'm assuming leaving YOW here) if you absolutely positively have to be there (to paraphrase FedEx)

I'm new to AC. I have a booking within the weather waiver policy. i'm trying to change the booking online, but the website keeps showing me a fare difference, even though I believe it should be free. I've been on hold for 30min trying to reach someone. Any tips or tricks I should try?

Also interesting is that my interpretation of the YUL policy may require time travel to complete...

The problem is that when YYZ goes to poop (as it often does) YUL is affected as a repercussion.

I had a flight YQR-YYZ that was clearly covered under the announcement but I had to call in to change it for $0. In the event, they then changed the outbound YYZ-YQR to arrive 12 hours later via YQR and I cancelled the whole itinerary, which is fortunate, given that the new return flight got cancelled too.

There are still some YUL-YTZ, so maybe I could have made it work, but it felt risky. I do need to get where I'm going.
