Hopefully all of the proactive cancellations will allow them to get things back on track faster once the storm passes, which btw, based on how it's materializing would make just getting to YYZ a dangerous odyssey for PAX, Crew and Airport Employees with conditions worsening through the day.

About 15 hours ago, I received an email saying ac57 was canceled on Jan 27 so now im stuck in DXB and still no arrangements have been made.
Is my booking in limbo and how long can I hold off for?

Got the email and update for the meal voucher and hotel voucher. Also rushed with standby on to an earlier flight into YUL. It looks like the voucher kicks on after the first leg is boarded as well. I got both within minutes
Very very happy as a frequent flyer with AC, another reason why i often pay the 25% premium.
The only minor issue was that AC WiFi doesn't believe i am on this flight lol, maybe my standby cleared too late. Ended up paying 800 pts for wifi, small peas in the grand scheme of things.
Other than that guess it will be awhile before i can get my 737 Max post card.

Anyone have experience with weather IRROPS affecting a *A carrier (TP in my case) on an Aeroplan award ticket? <48 hour. Am an SE if that matters/helps.
Curious if TP cancels, will AC be able to rebook on any inventory e.g. UA or will AC only be able to use TP award inventory or something else? I assume TP can rebook if they can take over the ticket?

So I suspect AC inventory would be available to you but unlikely others

It doesn't look like it's got anything to do with destination since every flight after 2pm is cancelled. And yes, we know YYZ doesn't handle snow near as well as the hearty crew at YSC!

Has AC cancelled everything out of YYZ, including TATL?
