Making some progress here....

Pre-dinner drink service, since that would be abut now on AC 15, give or take. Anyway, it's cocktail hour somewhere.

Again, grandma's linen, AC's tiny paper napkin and the LCBO version of a tiny bottle. (Pro-tip: this is an excellent substitute for vanilla when making chocolate-marble cheesecake)

Now I have to go make a batch of butter chicken, with the chicken cubes boiled in the microwave and sort of off to the side of the glop of sauce, which must be cooked until it's a bit crispy around the edge. The sauce must also not taste like butter chicken sauce, also.

The trick is to boil the bleached white rice, and then when its done cooking, continue to cook it for another 15 minutes.

I'm going to thoroughly enjoy the lack of the tired omelette plus relish and cottage cheese.

This morning I was going to try to make an AC Omelette
then I realized we only have fresh eggs. strike 1
no cold war era cottage cheese strike 2
no mushy/moldy grapes or blueberries for fruit plate strike 3

Last night all 3 of us (SE100k) wanted a nice dry steak.
We all have meal priority, so why not.

Nailed it! We were able to exactly recreate a recent AC J Signature Service flight......there was a provisioning problem in our home thus nobody got steak, family was served the unwanted pasta instead.

Am I the only one that actually misses the red pepper relish and cottage cheese? I wish I could figure out how to convert normal cottage cheese into the warmed stuff they serve for breakfast.

Nah, wander over to the North American meal thread and you'll see fans there.

@yyz_atc_qq

Ah, so let me introduce you to B/E Aerospace/Rockwell/Collins......

If AC can manage the descriptions offered here, you can too.

Should you wish to recreate that awesome AC served-onboard omelette, warm cottage cheese and relish......

24left I'd have been happy with a simple.... use 4% cottage cheese, mix with chives, bake in small ramekins at 325F for 20 min

Or whatever the recipe might be...

Made my own banana bread today. But I don't have the equipment to package slices in individual clear plastic wrappers that you can tear open... Then again do I really want to remember the PRouge breakfasts?

Sure, but recipes could go in the Forum Lounge thread. This is he AC Meals....at Home thread, so I thought about how to create an AC Meal at Home.

I also imagined how much better my meal could be if I overcooked the haricots verts, so they matched AC's .... even though the manufacturer promises "colourful steamed vegetables".

How about the healthy option breakfast. Take container of Quaker Oats. Empty out the contents and grind the cardboard container to fine flakes. Add "cinnamon apple" potpourri sachet from Bed Bath & Beyond, and add hot water, ranging from barely moist to flooded, whichever you don't prefer.
