This new annual thread has been carved out of the previous thread in an effort to reduce the number of megathreads on the AC forum. For those interested previous versions are the original 2004 - 2014 thread , 2015 edition, 2016 edition , 2017 edition, 2018 edition and 2019 edition.
The original thread started by accident but quickly became a popular place to come and discuss off topic things such as hockey, new movies, or almost anything that wouldn't fit into existing AC forum threads. Air Canada or Aeroplan topics such as flight feedback, in-flight services issues, status or mileage earning/redemption are all topics that should go into existing AC forum threads so others can benefit from this information. Topics about hotels or airlines and/or their loyalty programs, destinations, in-flight travel tech. or anything best discussed elsewhere on FT may be relocated to that forum as this thread isn't meant to import travel topics to this forum that are better discussed on other forums. FT is an amazingly diverse and large community so members are encouraged to seek out all of its resources.
While the conversation is more relaxed as it would be in a lounge that doesn't mean however that the FT rules don't apply here as they definitely do so please refrain from controversial topics such as politics or religion, avoid profanities and treat other lounge patrons with the same respect you expect.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch :

This is what no doubt awaits us on our return tomorrow. Maybe the current AQI of 47 in YAZ isn't so bad after all.
I really feel for our poor cousins in CA, OR and WA. canadiancow's timing for being elsewhere was fortuitous

JEALOUS!!
I love flying small aircraft but the rest of my family with maybe one exception (depending on their mood) are not fans, so it has to happen almost exclusively on solo endeavours.
Kinda takes the fun away when you can't share it.

Not quite my typical setup, but three local reds today. We also had some nice bruschetta, but it wasn't in the photo.

Watched the Bucs also. It's fun having two teams now. Not a particularly smooth game from TB but they'll figure it out.

canadiancow, we need to get you one of these suits.

Yeah, very different looking offence. Will be interesting to see how it works out.
I'm interested to see how it goes, although I wouldn't go so far as to call the Bucs my team. I wish Brady and Gronk well, but Brady sure didn't look very good.

I got a good kick out of the "gineus" thread, as it reminded me of the time when I was in university and the student union produced their annual handbook for (new?) students that, thanks to the big beautiful brains of the people running it became the "hanbook", with an ode in the note from the editors to having been inspired by the "genuis" of Albert Einstein or something like that. The "Hanbook" (pronounced like Han Solo) and "genuis" then became running jokes around the student newspaper offices all year.
Anyway, not sure whether anyone else found that amusing, but I got my dose of Member Berries for the day

We just told everyone that the box was written correctly, and the hard to find 'sperkers' are much better suited for home computers than speakers. People still come back years later asking for more sperkers.
