JFK-CDG - what partner would you be booking that with?

If there's a schedule change, they'll book you in LH F is there is availability, but they generally only open revenue space on AC flights.

Apologies meant JFK-AUH (would much rather do 14hour in F vs. connection in CDG)

For those of you looking for EY availability and are new to redeeming on EY, please review the AA forum. 90% of the questions here are covered in this thread:

Booking AA Award travel on Etihad / EY (master thread July 2017 onwards)

Luckily, Aeroplan agents see availability better than AA agents.

Booking with EY using AAdvantage miles was the most frustrating and asinine process I ever went through. Anything has to be better than that.

if LH F is available, sure. If not and other routings are available, then extremely unlikely.

Same with, say, SQ F. AP can't just magically make inventory on partners appear.

Did you end up booking SIN-AUH-JFK in F (a380 AUH-JFK) for 2 pax for Oct dates I sent by PM few days ago?

Unfortunately the dates did not work out (thanks a ton though for sending that), I am hoping that JFK-AUH opens last minute, however excited regardless even if its on a shorter CDG-AUH segment.

I just tried to do a SYD-JFK booking. I booked BOM-AUH-JFK online, then called to switch to SYD.

The agent told me it was invalid without even trying (i.e. she's been getting calls about this), she said it was over MPM but wouldn't give me the MPM, and she added a remark about it to prevent HUCA.

So I guess it's hang up, refund, rebook, call again?

Agree cancel and rebook.

I booked without issues YYZ-LHR-AUH-SYD-AUH-JFK/EWR-YYZ (4 segments in apartments) @ <$360 incl. $30 booking fee.

What would the YQ be if it is YYZ-LHR (I am not SE)?

With no SE, YYZ-LHR one-way should be $532 in carrier surcharges.

However, originating Australia - SYD-AUH-LHR-YYZ should be $0

Doesn't the no-YQ only apply on the flight immediately originating SYD and not the entire itinerary? I could've sworn that's how it worked with Japan at least.

edit: some route testing shows that I appear to be wrong on this. Interesting.

I appreciate the spirit in which you are asking this, but between the Etihad Guest forum, the AA thread about booking EY with AA miles, and the plentiful guides online, I'm confident that with a bit of research you'll find help on finding the space.
