The phone has no external storage. Something must be surviving the uninstalls.
As a matter of fact, that reminds me that after the first time I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, even though it was telling me it couldn't get a connection and couldn't pull up my profile, it popped up some reminders for a flight I was booked on, which suggests that something is surviving the uninstall. |

So, after Jumper Jack posted in the ac.com/ae.com issues thread that force stopping a few times fixed it for him, I figured I would try reinstalling the app. This, after having it uninstalled for about a week and restarting my phone a few times in the process.
As I was waiting for it to download, I scrolled through the comments section on the Play Store a bit. Surprise, surprise, not only had other people had the same problem, AC had actually responded with a solution! Android System Webview is out of date. Update it from the Play Store and everything works fine again. Why none of the dozens of other apps on my phone had problems with this, who knows. |
For some reason I can't add today's flight pass reservation to the app (the last two, December 2 and December 9, added perfectly fine).

I am also having troubles getting new bookings to show in the "your flights" section. I am booking on a FP and they aren't showing on the app. If I try to use the "retrieve another booking" tool, the reply comes back saying that it can't find the booking. I have booked about 10 flights that the app can't find.

I sent a feedback to the app team. Not even a reply.
You don't see that from many IT shops. It is sad when all we see is things getting worse instead of better. |
