Got an update on the Flight pass app. I can login in again.

So earlier this year, Apple finally p*ssed me off enough that I ended up with a Samsung Galaxy S9+.
While I try to figure the Android app world out, can someone advise me on the following? - On my Apple device, I can add my Air Canada Altitude Card to my "wallet." Can I do the same on Android without having to sign in to the silly Mobile+ app? TIA. |
1. What's a "wallet"?
2. What do you use the digital card for? I can't say I've ever had a need to pull it up. |

If you absolutely need to, you can upload it to Google Pay (or maybe Samsung Pay). In Google Pay, this will be under "Passes"

I do not currently have a physical card so I would be reliant on the digital card for my present travels. *I can't request a replacement card since the 2019 cards are being rolled out now (according to the site) Certain airport lounges that I frequent (*A contract lounges) when I fly through Europe, always request my BP AND my Frequent Flyer Card. For some reason, they always write our FP numbers on a paper spreadsheet.

Gotta love it when the AC app tells me I'm not connected to the Internet. Even though I'm posting this on FT, doing e-mail, using the SPG and BA apps, etc...
What a terrible app. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ef17ed2c94.jpg |
Not sure if this is specifically an Android app problem. I have a mini-RTW booked for Sept. I just checked my phone to see if there have been any plane swaps. Sure enough, my flight from yvr-yyz shows a A321 on the Android app but still a 777 on the Air Canada website under manage my bookings. The flight also shows a 777 when making a new booking. Any ideas why the Android app would show a different plane? Wouldn't the app pull the data from the same place as the AC website? The flight is AC118 on Sept 1 if anyone is curious.

118 is definitely a 321 at this point.
The mobile apps actually tend to use more reliable data sources than the website for a lot of their features. |
