Some of my more noteables:

Bishop Desmond Tutu
Greg Norman and the other golfer known as the Walrus ( I got into a
dispute with them as I was in the First class row behind them smoking -
they did not think I should be permitted to smoke - a long time ago, obviously)
the late real Colonel Sanders of KFC ( who was dressed all in white)
and I shared a seat with Mike Harris while he was premier, in Y class, on a
flight to PBI

Here are some celebrities I've seen, Canadian or not.

Bryan Adams: 2 years ago on an Alitalia (yuck) flight from London to Rome, in J Class. He was in their lounge beforehand too, but I didn't clue in until he sat down in front of me on the plane. He just looks like such a normal dude.

Cameron Diaz: 1 year ago. YYZ to LAX...she was in J and I was in the back.

Dwight Yorke: Soccer superstar. Saw him yesterday on a Qantas flight from Perth to Sydney. Apparently he plays in the Australian League now...talk about a pay cut.

Richard Simmons: Saw him in a Red Carpet Club somewhere in the US (can't remember where) with his PA. His hair is still the same, but he wasn't wearing shorts (thank god).

About four months ago I was in 2F and Rachel MacAdams was in 3F.

And I was on a UA flight with Rosie O'Donnell.

Both on AC from LGA - YYZ this summer:

Canadian:

Keifer Sutherland - Took off cowboy boots, put feet (white sport socks) up on front bulkhead wall...and didn't take off the Ray-Bans. With bodyguard / Personal Assistant.

Non-Canadian:

Black-Eyed Peas - Sat next to Fergie. Interesting enough, she had absolutely no interest in striking up a conversation with me. It was pretty funny watching her personal assistant put her bags in the overhead, get her magazines and order her drinks. Guy with dreadlocks was sitting behind me sleeping like a log...

New sightings...

...Gwyneth Paltrow in MLL (shes actually better looking in person than on screen), surprised she wasnt on a private jet....and Uma Thermon in BA lounge at LHR...she's a frickin amazon, shes easily 6' but very very pretty , and finally one I forgot on my last post..Courtney Cox (this was 3-4 years ago) who was so ghastly skinny I didnt recognized her and someone had to tell me it was her, but I have to say she was very nice to FA and anyone who approached her.

Someone already posted a lengthy report about seeing her at the T2 MLL during the TIFF, so seems there were two FTers in the MLL at the time!

Fergie is also the name of a vocalist in the Black Eyed Peas (a hip-hop group).

Heheh...figured. I haven't followed international soccer in a few years. I'm sure he still could have found a league which would have paid him more money, but then of course he wouldn't have been 'the man'.

Very interesting thread! ^
Sat in the middle seat between Allan Rock and his daughter in Hospitality on a YVR-YOW flight last year. To tell you the truth I didn't recognize him at first (past history - Gun Registry ; now Ambassador to UN). I was a little bothered by his daughter and him carrying on conversations right 'through' me though (as if I wasn't there), even after I offered to change my seat with either of them...
