Missing Mileage

I am trying to file a missing mileage claim for the EVA Air flight I took last month. How do I insert the departure date, I tried all the following:

20150704
07042015
04072015
2015-7-4
4-7-2015
7-4-2015
4 Jul 2015

None of these worked and it keeps saying that the flight is ineligible since I was not an Aeroplan member on that date!

Does anyone know how can I apply for mileage credits on my flight? Thanks.

Were you a member on that date?

Yes, I had been a member since they converted all Canadian Plus into Aeroplan.

You can send a scanned copy to [email protected]

The wait is awful - 3.5 months in my circumstances without resolution. They promise a 16 week turnaround.

You're better off using the guess and check method.

I'm now on my 3rd round of escalations and both files have been referred to management. IMO, both are very clear cases of missing miles, each agent agrees, just no one wants to nor knows how to credit me.

When I go to the AE website and click on missing mileage credit, there is a calendar to the right of the Departure Date box. I clicked on that and picked a random date, and it populated the box as follows:

Wed. Jul 8, 2015
If you aren't seeing the calendar box, I would try a different browser or something.

I feel your pain. Took me 8 months once (and more rounds of escalation than I can count) to get the COS bonus from a AC flight. (bought on AC.com, flown on AC metal, on 014 stock).

Is there a process you are using to escalate to management that you'd care to share that has gotten you success?

Are you having luck going through your concierge or the phone lines?

Not looking to pull OZ back from the curtain, just looking to get some results.

Nope. 5th AE agent escalated both cases under one case #....about 10 days ago. Have heard nothing since.

One is a case of one segment of a 6 flight itin not being credited (TK18) with their system saying it has been credited. The 2nd is me being protected on Virgin when SAA oversold JNBLHR. Both were paid J.

Thank you for the suggestions.

I called the service center a few days ago. Even before I finish telling the agent about my problem, I was told that I was the 10+ person on that particular day complaining about the same problem. She went ahead and asked me to email my documents to the quoted email address. It seems there is something wrong with the website for missing mileage applications.

I assumed all schedule flights operated by EVA Airways are eligible for mileage, since TPE - IAH is newly opened in mid June. Asiana Club refused crediting the mileage citing that route by BR is ineligible.

I indeed tried it on all three computers at home and three at work as well, also, it was tried on my tablet. Google Chrome, Firefox and IE were all tried in each of the occasions and none were working.

Thanks Dorian. I'll aim for a slow day in the office when I have a free hour or two and attempt to connect again.

If anyone gets additional compensation for the headaches - please post!! Thanks.
