I seem to recall a "I love the meals on short-haul flights. The VOML meals are big and pretty good. And United just gives me a snack basket. AC is so much better."

Meanwhile, I'll sit here munching on my cheese plate

Usually...

They got rid of the cheese plate. They had smoked salmon and a potato salad. I was impressed with the regular meal on that flight.

Anyways, my last VOML on a rapidair flight was an edible wrap. I'm hoping my return flight will also have an edible wrap, not that garbage.

Eggplant, some vague sauce....................more eggplant.

It was vile. I smelt it and then I almost vomited.

I'm very pleased to say the NLML has now changed for AC business class.

A photo to come later. But it's now a pasta + red bean meal. The red beans sorta sucked, but the pasta was OK.

Cow's child meal yesterday in 149 looked respectable even for a man-child.

The appetizer was, once again, awesome.

The main was a pasta again, but it had cheese on it and was not nearly as bland.

So apparently they boarded my "tray" (I assume that's the appetizer and stuff), but not the entree. SD is trying to get it before departure, but I told her it's fine if she can't.

Rapidair Kosher Meal (ex-YUL) - Breakfast

Large tray. Everything was good except the meal which was EXTREMELY bland.

Tuna and Salmon salads were great. The viennoiseries were also good. The fruit was fresh and not freezer burnt (for once).

The omelette tasted like nothing (literally nothing, it was like chewing something that tasted like nothing).

Didn't eat the bread.

Rapidair AVML (ex-YUL) - Breakfast

Everything on that tray was good.

Fruits were fresh and ripe. Tomato sauce for the tofu was great. The spinach was also very good, same for the mushrooms.

10/10 would do it again

PLH Kosher Meal (ex-YYZ) - Breakfast

Everything was excellent on this tray. Especially the omelette, potatoes, and zucchini. Everything was actually seasoned very well.

Sad thing is that the tray was the same as the rapidair one except it was missing the Tuna and Salmon salad. So either catering error, or just ex-YYZ cheapness.

I have no idea what that is. And I did not finish it (not even close).
