IMO, too much is made of the folks who fly the miles in comfort versus those of us who do the segments on Dash or RJs
Don't forget about those of us on the BEH. I have 35 segs this year. 30 on the BEH, the others on DH1. I don't even get the fancy DH3.

Earliest I ever qualified for SE was in 2009. Qualified in early May by doing YYZ-YZF weekly.

In my early E/SE years, all I did was fly BEH... and earned SE on the former 150 segment requirement!

So yeah, I "slummed" it too... until I became wiser...

I did it always on AQS never on segments although last year I had 246 segments. Last couple of years including E-credits, OPUPS and a loophole they closed up but I still managed not too burn up all of my E-credits. Slummed it very little actually.

Today, 93220 miles for 2015, all leisure travel. All booked before October 13, 2014 (date of latest enhancements). No new bookings on AC. Quite a few on BA and CX.

Cannot speak to BEH much but have you been on a Dash 100 recently? The complaints on mainline cabin shape and cleanliness pales in comparison to the Dash 100s,IMHO.Dash 100s are hardly "luxurious"

Yep - early Feb YVR YYJ round-trip were my latest DH flights. Didn't think it was that bad actually!

I'm averaging more than E50K a month... I doubt I can sustain this.
