Probably because the unofficial thoughts expressed by AC's official FT representative and taken out of context on a special-interests internet forum are not particularly newsworthy to the general public

Haha I love the immediate response to stalwartly defend the airline. Well done.

That portion of my comment was meant to reflect that media outlets like the CBC take a lone customer's complaints - which are often illegitimate - and make it news. It's a business decision I'm surprised AC is making to have a company rep make something comments like Ben's in a public forum.
