After opening their 100th hotel in Indonesia a couple months ago (Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla), Accor is on track with their plan to expand aggressively in the country in the coming years. Sofitel So Jakarta is under construction but still a long way to completion (2018?). Here are some scheduled for next year:

- Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai Airport
- Ibis Styles Bogor Raya
- When I was in Bandung in July, I saw they're building a convention center right in front of the provincial governor's office, with a Pullman and Ibis Styles in the complex. News has it they're scheduled to open the complex end of 2016, but these constructions are usually delayed. Can't wait for the Pullman to open.


Outside Indonesia, I noticed these:

Accor is aggressively increasing their market penetration in Poland thanks to their subsidiary Orbis, now responsible for the entirety of CEE. Some properties scheduled to open in 2016:
* Mercure Kraków (directly operated) - http://www.batiplus.pl/en/constructi...rakow-centrum/
* ibis Styles (franchised) in the secondary cities Białystok, Siedlce, Nowy Sącz, Grudziądz and Gniezno, all new builds FWIK

Additionally, the long-promised Pullman in Riga is scheduled to finally open in 2016. The property is in the old town, a historic low-rise better suited for an MGallery, so I have absolutely no clue why Accor sold the investor a Pullman franchise.

Another upcoming upscale hotels will be opening in Saudi Arabia, with the first Pullman in Madinah and finally Sofitel would arrive in Jeddah since Al Hamra Jeddah managed by Pullman already looks old and tired.

Pullman Sydney Airport looks set to open late 2016 (interesting to note that it came up on my Sydney hotel search today on Accor.com as opening in January 2016, but this article says late 2016)
