Manado is best known for Bunaken National Park, and the area is popular for diving.

Liverpool has another new hotel (not the Pullman due to open) but the Atlantic Tower (formerly a Thistle hotel) is now a Mercure. For anyone who knows the hotel, its built like the 'prow' of a ship which with its view of the river Mersey fits in well.
Stayed there for £40 booked in the sale, didn't get an upgrade as dropped from Platinum to Silver but drink voucher given out. Had a standard ninth floor room with a view of Liverpool Parish Church and the Liver Building.

Novotel and MGallery Phuket
AccorHotels has significantly expanded its presence in Phuket with the signing of a deal for three more properties.
The agreement, penned with Avista Resort & Spa Patong Company, will see two existing properties rebranded under the Novotel and MGallery by Sofitel brands on 1 April 2016, and the launch of a new-build MGallery by Sofitel property in 2018.

Santa Teresa, a Relais & Chateaux hotel, is a great hotel for atmopshere, and is located in one of the most living/creative parts of the city
