An update to my previous post #206, I recently completed another stay that is eligible for the 8000 points promotion and I got my second 3000 points right away. However, at this moment, I am still missing the bonus point which supposed to come with my second stay.

I contacted Le Club several times thru phone and email but they referred me back to Accor Advantage Plus since I am their member and Le Club claimed their is nothing they can do.

Accor Advantage Plus did email back after more than 10 days claiming that Ibis France does not earn any point during weekday hence no promotion point. Well, if the agent bothers to look at my account or checks the T&C will know this is not true as my account has been credited with the Ibis stay. Since then, I have not heard back from them despite several follow up email.

Overall extremely disappointing experience. Will keep you guys posted if I hear more.

I know that this does not help you, but mine posted fine. Obvious inconsistency on Accor's part and I am sure that it is pretty frustrating.

I had real problems with this posting. I emailed / tweeted / phoned and they all told me that I booked outside the promotional period. I was shocked, as I was convinced I had booked inside the promotional period. It was until I discovered the quoted "booking date" that I worked out their mistake.

They had in their system, the "booking date" as the date that I checked-in, online. Of course, this was not my actual booking date. After many explanations / screenshots sent to them, they finally credited my account with the bonus points. Surely Accor should have a system that can differentiate between making a booking, and checking-in online?

I also have a correctly booked stay that I did OLCI for and haven't had the bonus post. You have confirmed what I suspected

Success

Finally was credited my 2nd stay in the promotion. Forced the issue as it was over 28 days.

Received this email from Le club.

Dear Mr. __________,
It is with a lot of attention that we took note of your request for regularization of bonus points related to the offer "Receive up to 160€ in Points".

Having checked your file, it turns out that your stay in the Novotel Brugge Centrum hotel from 22 to 23/03/2015 was well eligible for this offer. Also, we have the pleasure to confirm to you that your bonus points, in this case 3000 points, have been credited to your Le Club Accorhotels account.

To answer your inquiry, please note that the status is calculated on the activity accumulated during a 365 days period including any sort of point’s credit regardless whether they were used for stays or not during this exact period.

We invite you to consult the details of your operations on our website www.accorhotels.com. For this, you first have to identify with your Le Club Accorhotels card number (without spaces) and your password and then access your "Personal space" in the section "My loyalty card", "history of my points".

Regards,

Saad B.

By the way, does anyone know if there is any specific hotel not participating in this offer? My second stay was at Ibis CDG.

Thanks!
Same situation for me. 1st eligible stay : the 1000 bonus points posted immediately (at the same time as the regular points). I made my 2nd eligible stay last week end : regular points posted but not the promo ones. I will wait for the 28 days window and see what's happening.
For the last similar promotion, the promo points posted all at the same time as the stays.

Correct. I posted about this some 10 days ago:

Online check-in may change original booking date?

I instead received both 1000 and 3000 bonus points immediately after my stays with the normal points and other promotional points but the 4000 bonus points after the third stay weren't credited. First stay was in February, second stay March and third stay April, last week. Weird.

I indeed did OLCI for my 2nd stay. IIRC, I received the OLCI invitation for my 1st stay but it didn't work. So for once, their IT malfunctions seems to be a good thing

hi, i am experiencing missing points from my stay in novotel bangkok fenix silom. they have already sent me email surveys for my stay and i have already submitted a missing points report through their website (though i don't have any receipts to show). any guess if they will give me my points?

they also haven't credited the february 8000 points for 3 stays promo as well. is there an email address that i can chase them on this or a toll free number?

March 2015 promo - consecutive stays

With the March 2015 promo I had 3 not overlapping bookings in 3 different hotels (ibis Coventry South (from 14/04/2015 to 15/04/2015), ibis Coventry Centre (from 15/04/2015 to 17/04/2015), ibis Styles London Leyton(from 17/04/2015 to 18/04/2015)). Points from the promo posted fine from ibis Styles London Leyton (I did not use online check in.), but had problems with the first two, because of online check in. Using the missing points forms I got the points of ibis Coventry South, but not for Centre. I got this response:

The reason why your stay was not eligible for the bonus points is that your stay is consecutive with the ibis Styles London Leyton hotel from 17-Apr-2015 to 18-Apr-2015.

According to the terms and conditions of this offer, the offer is only valid once for 3 stays per member during the offer duration, for stays between 17-Feb-2015 and 31-Aug-2015 in hotels participating in the Le Club Accorhotels programme, booked between 17-Mar-2015 and 15-Mar-2015. Stays cannot be consecutive.

Anyone has a similar or contradictory (that would be better : ) ) experience?
Any advice, how to approach the problem?

Well let me first say you are leaving it a little bit late to get on to this.

But what they have said to you is completely wrong.
Consecutive stays means at the same hotel. You booked 3 different hotels on different nights. You made 3 bookings. Assuming it was booked within the promotion dates then there is no way they can refuse to issue the points to you.

Be confident about it and push them hard as you are definitely right.
If you stayed at the same Ibis hotel 3 times for 3 bookings from the 15th-18th then yes you would only get 1 bonus.

I hope that helps.
