YYZ - YQY has also been roughed.

Rogue now lists Canadian destinations on its website. No doubt that list of routes will only grow as Calin and his Yes Boys recognize increased potential to grow their own bonuses by continuing to charge premium fares for their substandard product.

The short answer is no shrink to seat pitch for the conversion to max 7.5 from max7.

The max 7.5 is gaining 12 seats by adding the equivalent 2 row economy length from the comparable max7. Additionally, there will be four over wing exits on max 7.5 rather than 2 overwing exits as on the max 7 and current 700 variant.

Competition from the CS300 is the reason for Boeing to develop the max7.5. Comparing CS300 CASM to max7, the CS300 is easily lower cost, however with the addition of 12 seats, the max7.5 cost profile is comparable (there is still a minor cost efficiency for the CS300), plus the only way to realize the cost efficiency is for all max 7.5 flights to be completely sold, otherwise the CSM (Cost per Seat Mile) favours the CS300.

Any news on the seating config of the 737max? The first delivery should be soon I think?

First delivery is scheduled for October of this year. 2nd WS Max is currently in final assembly.

As for seats, there will be 168 seats.

What will be the breakdown of Y+, Y ?
I think it was mentioned they are going 2-2 in Premium?

Still subject to change, but at this point, the MAXs will be configured the same as the 737-800s.. 156 economy seats & 12 seats in Plus.

Like real 2-2 in the 763, or fake European blocked off seat 2-2?

Seat map makes it look blocked off, but this may be on purpose in case there is an aircraft substitution.

the seat map for 737MAX 8 in Y+ is identical to 737-800.

IATA code for 737MAX 7/8/9 is 7M7 / 7M8 / 7M9, respectively. WestJet uses 7M8 publicly, but internal code RM8 (R3W for 73H).
