Best C seat choice on 777?

I'm traveling with a colleague to China with TK this fall.
Still too far ahead to get seats but want to know up front what to ask for 100 days before departure.

Is row 1 better than the others? I'm particularly thinking of isle access.
I assume we will be at A/B. Would be tempting to get both isle seats in the middle but if some poor soul would end up in the middle it woundn't be good anyways..

Window seats in row 1 are slightly narrower due to the shape of the aircraft.
I suggest row 2 or row 6 (second in second, smaller J cabin).

Thanks.
What about row 5? From the seat map this one seems to be the same size and the first row in the smaller cabin.

Would be very handy for the person at the window to be able to get out without any issues..

A320 Euro Business Row 1 Bulkhead legroom?

I am scheduled for a 3+ hour flight on A320-232 with (I assume) Euro Business. Looking for legroom. Does Row 1 (bulkhead) provide better legroom than rows 2 or 3? They are blocked at the moment but I was curious if I should request at the airport.

Are there different seatmaps for the A333s in Y or just the version displayed on Seatguru? Im flying TK0052 to Tokyo and TK0053 back. Flightradar24 shows that they fly mainly the newer planes to Tokyo (TC-JOE/F/A/G etc.).

Hi all, looking at LGW-IST TK1998 and IST-LGW TK1997 on the way back.

A321, I assumed these are all the 'new' black seats? Saw on the FAQ 4 thread there was an old green seat for the A321 so just wanted to make sure.

Anyone have a preference for this route? I can see a 737 flight earlier in the day.

I have not flown TK myself, but soon will and have been researching the A321 as I had the same question (for different destination than LGW). The EF seatmap for these flights (random dates in June) shows seat 'columns' AB and EF. The wiki indicates these would be the newer seats. The older config would show AC and DF. Hopefully others can confirm this analysis.

Has anyone flown on a 79D? Would I be right in assuming this is the TK short-haul (non-Africa) configuration of the Boeing 737-900. Are there PTVs in Y?

SFO-IST 77B Economy seat

Hello-

We are a party of 2 adults traveling SFO-IST in August on the 77B in Economy. A few questions:

1. Is the seatmap used in the seat selection screen when booking on TK correct in that there are 2 restrooms just forward of the start of the Economy section (row 11?).

2. We have selected seats 26H and 26K, hoping the seat in between (26J) will be vacant. Any comments on this approach? Also, are there any advantages to sitting instead in the first Economy section rows 11 - 16 such as they are quieter and/or have less foot traffic?

Thanks so much.

For the last few days it seems to have been a B737 so I'd go with row 2 or 3, window or aisle dependent on your preference

Thank you.. We're 2 people so i'll choose both the aisle and window seats.

Which has better window placement on the 738 & 739;

Row 2 or Row 3?

Thank you
