Q: Which routes have full flat seats in Royal Silk?
A: Only the Airbus A380-800, A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER, 787-8 and 787-9 feature full flat seats in Royal Silk. The A380 is used on the following routes: LHR, CDG, FRA, HKG, KIX and NRT.
The B777-300ER regularly serves these destinations: OSL, CPH, ARN, FRA, BRU, ZRH, VIE, SIN, PVG, PEK, MEL and BNE. It also regularly flies domestic runs to HKT and CNX.
Q: Which routes get the new 747 «suites»?
A: Any route which is scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 747 might see the new «suites», but some routes are more likely to get them (but not guaranteed). These routes are: MUC, HKG, HND and SYD. Flights to HKT are often operated by the them, although these flights are without First class service.
Q: What are the chances of ending up on one of the old Boeing 747s with recliner seats in Royal First and Silk?
A: 0 %. All Boeing 747s have been converted and feature full flat seats in Royal First and angle flat seats in Royal Silk. Every seat in Economy also features a PTV with AVOD and AC power (every two seats).
Q: To which destinations do TG offer Royal First?
A: LHR, CDG, FRA, MUC, HKG, KIX, NRT, HND and SYD. Flights to PEK and PVG have "seasonal" (rather occasional) F service.
Q: Which version of the Boeing 777 features Royal First?
A: None. TG leased a handful of Boeing 777-300ERs from Indian Jet Airways a few years ago, that had eight enclosed first class suites. These aircraft have been returned to Jet Airways and are no longer in the fleet.

Inevitable aircraft change from A380 to B773ER for TG921 reflected in the PNR system sometime earlier this month. Seems like other people probably called in to get their seat selection sooner. Got randomly reassigned to 19K/21A, both in the second business cabin. All other window seats were taken. 
So I reinstated my EF subscription and setup a seat alert. Three days later and EF pings me. Seat 15K opened up and I grabbed it. Still keeping the 19K and hope for one more window seat in the front cabin, but at least now we are both on the same side/aisle of the flight.

Booked TG r/t SIN-BKK-ICN. ICN-BKK return was originally scheduled as a 744 which surprised me. Unfortunately two days after booking my flight it got swapped to a 773 (non-ER). I only booked the flights two weeks before flying.

I currently have 15K and 19K booked on an 773ER. Two seats opened up, 19A and 21K. Is it worth the switch to either one? Originally, I was planning to only change if I could get a second A/K seat in the front cabin.

19A and K are very good seats with slightly more legroom and space. Was sitting on 19A myself last week
with 19K and 21K you sit pretty close together
likely possible that there are more available during check in or after boarding

If traveling as a couple I would not prefer to be separated into front and second cabin.

But, went ahead and took the 19A bulkhead seat. That extra legroom and right-side table is going to make a bigger difference than 5 minutes of city view.

Not as a couple, but with sibling. Given the way the window seats are isolated, I don't think it makes a difference whether you are one row apart or not because we aren't really going to talk during the flight. I had 15K earlier because right side gives a view of BKK city when arriving.

NE monsoon season (Nov-Apr) means predominately approaches to Rwy 01 (ie from the south) SW monsoon (May-Oct) means predominately approaches to Rwy 19 (from the north); subject to any local weather influence on the day.

I'm looking at my seat map on a 77W and seems to like people are avoiding the back cabin right side while almost all other quadrants are full.
Over on EVA, they say that the most junior FA services the back right aisle and service tends to be a bit more inconsistent. Wondering if the same thing occurs on TG.
