All of the information above is based on seat maps from TG's own website and fleet information from planespotter(dot)com, as well as on information already available on this forum thanks to its dedicated members.

Please feel free to comment if you have more information and if anything I've written is false. I appreciate all the help I can get.

And remember: There is always the possibility of being TG'ed (being subject to a last minute equipment change). Thus you never know which aircraft and configuration you will get until you actually set foot on the aircraft.

Happy flying! :)

Wow! Fantastic post. Thanks for doing this. Only other information I'd like to see is information on the current routes where you can get full flat seats in J or F (i.e. routes for 773ER, 747, A340, and A380).

Excellent work Kimmam. THAI has such convoluted, ambiguous codes for some of their aircraft (such as "777-200/300") that this will greatly help! And also a nice touch with the links to seat maps and photos!

A couple of questions/suggestions:

1) Do the 777-200ERs really have a USB power port in Business? I remember the new -300ERs having that, but must have missed it on the -200ERs. Where are they located?

2) Is there any difference in what missions the two subfleets of RR-powered A330s (330 and 33H) are used for? Other than the slight difference in economy seating and entertainment system I see on the chart, is there any other differences between them? Range? Max Gross Weight/Payload? Just curious!

It would be great to add to this chart a range of manufacturer delivery dates for each particular sub-fleet.

Thank you for your feedback. I've updated the list with destinations which usually get served by full flat seats :)

Thank you! I totally agree with TG being ambiguous with their codes. It seems like a route showing the "Boeing 777-200/300" code can get every version of the B777. A true (TG) roulette! I've updated the list to contain the delivery span of the aircrafts as well as links to planespotters for more thorough information. Now, to answer your questions:

1) I think you are right. They don't. I remember I charged my phone when I flew the -200ER way back in 2010, but it was probably through the AC power outlet. :p

2) I don't think there is a difference between the two versions of RR A330. According to planspotters both are A330-343 which I believe implies they have the same engines and thus the same range and payload. But I don't really have the right knowledge, so I might be wrong :p

Love the addition of the FAQ.

Glad they made this a sticky.

Time to drop the "Sticky: Cabin Retrofit status on TG's 747s" as a sticky. (Mods please!)

Look forward to the addition of the 787 at some point in the future.

+1

One other thing.

On BKK<>HND,

660/661 usually gets the old 747

682/683 gets the new 747.

Of course this could easily change.

yqtyyz Apr 10, 2014 5:15 pm

Thanks a lot, OP, for compiling this list! ^

I'm flying on TG for the first time later this summer (have 2 A380 in F, and will experience the 1x2x1 773-300ER from BKK-SIN). Looking forward to the experience.

The seatmap link takes me to cabin version 74B1 which I think is not the right one.

Looks right to me. Staggered 1-2-1 in Business Class, 3-3-3 in economy. Why do you think it isn't right?

That is what I was expecting to see (and know I have seen it via some other web site, some time). However, using three different browsers, I see 2-2-2 followed by 2-3-2 in business when I click on that link. That is from a Windows 7 laptop. I see the same from an android tablet.

On investigating further, I think it might be a weird geographic issue. I am in Australia, and the Australian Thai site does not include the new config for the 773ER. However when I go to the US Thai site and start from there I do get to an (apparently) correct seat map.
