Index to distance-based sale threads

I've had similar questions, and it is time consuming to find all the past sale info, so I am creating this index to the past distance-based sale threads.
Let me know if I missed any, or got any dates wrong. Sometimes the first FT post is before the actual sale start date; the sale start date is what I intended to list here.

I'll try to put together some more details when I'm back home and on a normal computer (but feel free to take the initiative and do it for me).

The 6/21/11 sale distances were 450/1250/1250+

Seems like we have a pretty clear idea of when they have been releasing these sales. One in early summer and one in October. Also of note, the summer sales are valid for travel from mid-August until before Thanksgiving. The October sales are for post-Thanksgiving to mid-February, excluding Christmas/New Years of course.

OP when you get a chance, please add this current sale to the index. I hope this February sale is in addition to the annual summer sale, and not in place of it.

There was a sale in 2012

6/12/12:Fall Travel Super Sale--$49, $99, $139 One-way!

I didn't see a similar sale in October although there were a few sales then.

Are point redemption rates changes for this type of sale as they are with others?

OP already has that listed. (The sale was going on when he generated the post.)

The October 2012 sale was not distance based. It was 40% off using a promo code, which pissed people off because they couldn't use points.

Last year there was a big sale on October 8. We may get another one on Tuesday October 14, 2014. Check around midnight Central Time for low fares in your favorite markets.

When the low fares appear please post your findings in this forum for the glory of starting the thread. @:-)

I suspect the next one will be timed to coincide with the expiration of the Wright Amendment.

Was there a February 2014 sale last year, or am I just making it up? Can't find the email in my old mailbox.

There was a sale starting February 8th with $59 fares. I recall it was a pretty good sale but not specifically a mileage sale. The Email links to a webpage with the details, which of course is no longer available (404).

Cool, thanks! I was just wondering whether there's a good chance of another "Luv is in the Air" type sale next month.
