Looking forward to this!
Wondering how to get in on your next one!
I don't think anyone will fault you for too much detail
...
And similar to the highlighted report above, I’m finding it very hard to draw a line as to note what to write and what not to write. Because sometime, even though that one section might seem very minuscule, it’s when you add all of the parts up when you really see the giant overall picture.

Thanks greg99, hope you will enjoy the rest
Good Question FederalFlyer and the honest answer is I don't know, sometimes people do luck out travelling on the same day, either via an oops fare or an award inventory control issue like SQ.
It's different for the 3 of us since we've all known each other, and have a similar-enough style to make things work.
The worst thing that can happen to screw travel up is a travel partner you have no connection whatsoever.
Good call on the Too Much Detail lol
Not many 59 parts TR out there normally, like once a year maybe?

Should be able to put the next part up within the next 2 - 4 hrs
I think for this SQ LAX - SIN non-stop, for 16 hours this was kinda a normal day.
And seeing you are SEA based, I hope you are a Seahawks fan as I am, because I haven't gone to "Beast Mode" on that flight, no by a long shot.
I think the most impressive I've ever gone on 2 occasions
1st Example
On a CX F JFK - YVR, 2 yrs ago on my b-day weekend
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...lane-cx-f.html
BA Pre-Dining at the JFK lounge
Main Meal - Had Nuts, Western Appetizer, Breads, Chinese Appetizer, Main, Dessert, Pralines
Pre-Arrival - Western Appetizer, Soup, Noodles, Fruit Plate
And all of that on a 5 hr flight that left at 10pm, talk about drinking the plane dry, I cleaned out the F catering, I wanted a main for pre-arrival and they were all out.
And I still had 90 minutes of sleep in between ^
And better yet, went on a Japanese all-you-can eat in Vanny 2 nights after the flight as a B-day Dinner and cleaned out 2 Dozen oysters in 15 minutes, I said I got my moneys worth
2nd Example
11 hr flight, pretty sure its on 1 of the later sections of this TR
1st meal (Dinner) - Had Nuts, Soup, Salad, Breads, Appetizer, 2 mains, 2 dessert
Mid-Flight Snack - Salad, Main
2nd meal (Breakfast) - Toast, Yogurt, Eggs Main
Pretty sure the 2nd example the FAs were asking, sir please stop eating
Other Passengers need to eat too
Old NH F, LX 333/343 F, and I went to Baku earlier this year
As for this TR, I've been working on this baby for close to 2 months before starting to post it yesterday
Considering I have about 500-1500 words and 20-100 photos per section, it takes a long time to finish a report like this.

Part 2 – As Empty as a SIN-HKG flight can get, SQ Refurbished Regional J
After coming off the Ultra-Long SQ 37 LAX – SIN, I needed to head over from T1 back to the T2 transfer counter for an onward boarding pass.
However the counters were packed with people so I decided to enter Singapore for 30 minutes and check-in at T3 instead.
Apr 30, 2013 – Tuesday
SQ 890 SIN – HKG 7:35am – 11:20am (772/J)
Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3
Singapore Airlines Business Class Check-In
No lines at either entry/exit into Singapore and I shortly went back to T3 Airside
Interesting Recycling Campaign
Singapore Changi Singapore Airlines Terminal 3 Silverkris Lounge
A hot shower is definitely requisite after an 8700 mile flight and with little appetite, talk about rarity
I just went for a drink and caught up on some emails prior to heading off to Gate B6, the boarding gate for SQ 890.
And around 6:45am, I finally left the lounge for the 10 min walk to gate B6
*3rd flight, 12537 Miles flown since Apr 28
Singapore Airlines 890
Singapore Changi to Hong Kong
Scheduled - 7:35am – 11:20am, 3 hr 45 min flight
Actual Departure – 7:25am
Delayed Arrival – 11:24am
Business Class, Seat 14H
Food – Breakfast
Equipment – Boeing 777-200 (38J/228Y Refurbished Regional)
Boarding started like other normal SQ flights at T-30, the boarding area was very empty this Tuesday morning, just around 100 people.
Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 Refurbished Business Class Cabin
Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 Refurbished Business Class Seat
With the very light load, the FAs had an open bar PDB, so another Singapore Sling.
The overall flight map wasn’t working, flight time today was 3 hr 18 minutes back to HKG.
And with an light load of only 6 Business Class pax and 60% load in Economy, door were closed 10 Minutes early at 7:25am, but due to some ATC and runway traffic, 890 wasn’t airborne until 7:58am
Part 2 Continues Below

Bye Bye Singapore, until next time
SQ 890 Breakfast
Prelude
A Choice of Apple, Tomato or Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
Sliced Fresh Fruit
Starter
Choice of Cereal or Yoghurt
Cornflakes with Milk or Granola with Yoghurt Berry Compote
Plain or Fruit Yoghurt
Main
Singapore Nasi Lemak
Malay Style Coconut Rice with Spicy Prawn, Peanuts, Ikan Bilis, Grilled Fish Cake, omelette and fried chicken
A Local favorite served with Sambai Chili
Pork and Prawn Ball Congee
Rice Porridge with Pork and Prawn Meatball with deep fried Chinese Cruellers
Poached Eggs with Mornay Sauce, Chicken Sausage, Grilled Tomato, sautéed spinach, potatoes
Breads
Assorted Breakfast Rolls
Butter – Fruit Preserves
Beverages
Gourmet Coffees & Selection of Fine Teas
Cruising above the South China Sea
With the very light load in Business Class, the FAs sprung into action very quickly, 10 minutes after take-off
And despite already having a breakfast onboard SQ 37 and very light snacks in the SQ Lounge, I decided to have a light meal for the team.
Iced Coffee to start
Fresh Fruit Plate
Breakfast Breads
Yogurt
Main Course, Pork and Prawn Ball Congee
Another good thing about light loads, no trolley carts in the aisle and the meal service finished in 40 Minutes, nice.
Afterward, I decided to take a walk to the Rear Business Class Cabin, it was completely empty on this flight
2 1/4 Hours left to the flight, decided to have another snooze
And just about 1 hour left, another drink service prior to landing
And at 11am, we started descent into HKG with a view of Shenzhen, landing on Runway 25R
And at 11:25am, I’m finally back into HKG for a couple more weeks, and the best thing about flying a morning SQ flight, we’re parked at Gate 15, the closest gate to HKG immigration.

That refurbished regional 772 looks amazing. Way better than CX's regional J.
Great pics. Any WiFi? As I sit in 5E on my PIT-LAX 738 with WiFi.

And Short Hair Francis, no offence but I assume you've gained a few pounds and your cholesterol levels went up a few notches from all that eating on your long-haul SQ flight!
