Kosher on KLM is terrible
I asked previously if anyone had experience with kosher on KLM. I just flew KLM from LAX to AMS in Business and had the kosher meal.
It was disgusting.
If you are "kosher lite" - that is, you don't mind eating non-certified vegetarian - just stick with the nonmeat option on the airline's normal business class menu instead. If you really want a meat protein, bring your own.
If you aren't in biz class I'm not sure what the regular food is but you might also consider requesting vegetarian in advance instead of kosher.
I had a tiny little TV dinner with maybe 4 slices of low quality very salty beef, with rice and carrots and string beans and a heavy salty brown sauce. and they dont offer you the appetizers or dessert unless you make a point of asking. Not worth it. Really really unpalatable IMHO.
Just boarded a second KLM long haul and made a point of asking them to give me the normal meal instead.
It was disgusting.

I can now report that Qatar Airways give WAM from France, exactly the same as Aegean, which I posted above - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/25807864-post663.html.
This was on every flight - including JNB - DOH. The food is loaded at DOH, taken to JNB for the way back.

Comair in South Africa give kosher food from South Africa with the BD hechsher. The company name is "Totally Kosher".

Thai Airways SIN - BKK
Thai Airways, SIN - BKK, evening flight in economy, served kosher meal from Rabbi Yosef Kantor - Chabad bangkok. Bread with butter, eggplant salad, Chicken with rice, fresh fruit, cake. Quite good.
