Does anyone have any experience with Kosher meals on these airlines - Etihad, Emirates, and Qatar?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Have just booked a few flights with Comair in J (South Africa), and when ordering kosher meal it says "You can request a special meal up to 24 hours before departure, except for Kosher and Muslim meals on Comair operated flights in South Africa, which must be requested 48 hours before." - This makes me wonder, where they bring the kosher meals from, and if they'll be fresh...maybe we can hope for a nice Hermolis meal on the way to and from Victoria falls

So I flew now some flights with Aegean. They have switched suppliers (for the better) from Stogel, and now serve WAM, (french with hechsher of Rabbi Charbit)
Same food in Business and Economy.
Hot meals: morning flights - breakfast, with hot salmon, and afternoon and evening/night is pasta with chicken. Both served with Crackers and compote and others.
Aegean Breakfast:
Crackers, Jam, Cereal Bar, Compote, Orange Juice, Hot Salmon
Aegean Breakfast Hot meal:
Very good salmon with sauce
Aegean Lunch:

Kosher Meal in BA Sleeper Service?
Hi all,
Does anyone here know if, when flying BA Sleeper Service from JFK-LHR (Club World), the KSML is available as part of the 'Pre-Flight Supper' in the lounge?
I've tried searching and seen a few people over the years ask the same question, but I can't seem to find a clear answer, and I just called BA but they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about.
Thanks!

Last time there I was in the CCR. I was served the exact same breakfast as I was to receive on board a few hours later. A Borenstein production. Quite pathetic really. I have had a far better breakfast from Hamasbia in TLV on BA in CW ... let alone Hermolis from LHR.
Now, I know Borenstein are not all that wonderful, but their breakfast on EL AL from JFK is really not bad, even in business, let alone in First. Clearly BA are choosing the 'el cheapo' version from their catalogue.
I met an old friend there. He was really pleased not to get the meal he had ordered on board, as at least he would get some compensation from BA for not getting it ...
Maybe an evening meal will be better? I'll find out next Tuesday.

I was served the exact same meal I would have received on the plane. In fact, although the flight I am on is called a 'sleeper service', special meals such as kosher do get served on board, unless you ask to eat in the lounge (must be reserved in advance) in which case they will get the meal delivered to the lounge instead of to the plane. They explained this to me very nicely at the lounge dining room. I had ordered in advance.
A smoked mackerel starter, a corn and chickpea salad, a chicken main course (very tasty, and the vegetables were also excellent - not at all overcooked) chocolate cake dessert. Not at all bad. I'm very pleased that I can get a little more sleep, as the flight is not all that long from JFK-LCY.

Anyone have experience with Kosher on KLM? Don't see any mentions in this thread. I'm wondering if I should request kosher meal, or something else instead like "vegetarian", or just chance finding something on the regular menu. (biz class, if it matters.)
(I'm not the strictest kosher eater but I won't eat nonkosher meat.)
