BA JNB-LHR First

Pathetic effort, on plastic, with main course in economy class foil containers, and plastic cutlery of the cheapest type. Hopeless!

However, what is really strange is that on 3 internal flights in South Africa with BA (Comair) over the last couple of weeks we were served far better meals on china in Business Class. Weird.

Glad that they served something nice in C. Y was a tiny sandwich. Compare that to SA, on the same route, who served a full drink service before and after the meal, and served a hot meal with a yogurt, fruit cup, small salad, and dessert. Was actually a decent meal on SA.

KSML UA 954 SFO TLV Y

Dinner what tasted like lamb with couscous vegetables from KoshAir served with Pringles,Planters Peanuts no bread. Was very good.

Midflight Snack Turkey Sandwich on Pretzlel Roll with a biscut.

Regal Breakfasr was an omlette roasted potatoes with Rataouille ,Cinnamon Roll and fruit cup. Also very good.

All meals came with Dasani Water Bottle.

Flight attendants were quick to pick up trash and werw very attentive. I enjoyed a Citradelic Beer with my meal.

That is what I thought too. Was it a meal from CO Days? Can someone explain why there was no bread but Pringles and Peanuts? Hope it was not a 10 year old meal.

Kedem oy vey its soo sickly sweet. On a Lufthansa flight from TLV I got a mini bottle of Barkan red wine and it really enhanced my lunch in Y class. It was the first and only time this was given.

Anyone here knows how I got the mini Barkan bottle?

As for wine Kedem and Manichevits should be outlawed. I mean Golani,Carmel,Yarden and Barkan make better wines.

At my Bar Mitzvah the first request I had was that no sweet candy wine be served.

Update for AA. They now serve kosher meals in F for most flights that meals are served https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/...-allergies.jsp

I am currently flying AA488 (PHX-PHL) and was served a very nice Borenstein meal.

LHR-JFK should be a tasty Hermolis meal, usually meaty. JFK-LHR will be some Borenstein junk.

How bad is Borenstein? Should I bring a back-up meal? Yea, I’m amazed cattle class receives a free meal.
