Surprised to hear that they have Kosher meat provided in Aukland itself. I imagine it would be cheaper to order from Australia or even London or NYC.

Upcoming Flights KSML

I will be flying on LEVEL Iberia from SFO-BCN on an Optimal Y Fare which includes a meal and requested the KSML. I was wondering who caters the KSML from SFO and what to expect. I pray that it won't be KoshAir or Stogel.

My Father and I will be flying on Siscuan Air LAX-Jinan in Economy Class and Chengdu-Jinan-LAX and was wondering if they will serve Hermols or a local caterer? Also on our Domestic internal flight who serves the KSML and what will be served?

We are not religious but do order Kosher just to be safe and also to be served first. I pray to Hashem that Stogel will be closed down and that they remove the Hechesher from their long life food! If I were a Rabbi giving certification it first of all must taste good and be of a fresh nature like Sohars from Frankfurt. If it smells and tastes like cat or dog food then its Treif!

CX HKG-TLV Premium Economy

Hermolis Business KSML. By far the best food I ever had on an aircraft, totally blows LY C out of the water

For breakfast there was a wide selection of spreads fresh fruit, smoked salmon, a cheese plate, strawberry smoothie, cornflakes+milk, jam, honey, a dedicated tray with kosher pastries and a English breakfast with hash brown, grilled tomatoes, baked beans and omelette. Had I gotten this breakfast in a Cafe for NIS 120, it would still have been adequate value.

Dinner was a few snacks, smoked salmon, lamb with Couscous and Cake for Desert. Incredibly tasty.

Food was Hamasbia, small portions and so-so quality.

Dinner was Grilled Chicken Breast with Rice and Vegetables on the Side, not too bad.

For Breakfast, the Omelette/Potato was completely disgusting.

CX MNL-HKG Premium Economy

Dinner was Fried Fish in Curry Sauce with Rice, courtesy of Rabbi Kantor in Bangkok. There was also a chocolate cake and some Matbucha. I really like his food and this meal was no different - extremely tasty and really great for a 2h flight.

Just DM’d them on Twitter.

I can’t edit the wiki, so if anyone wants to add, go ahead. Flying TLV-LHR-JFK in Premium in about a month and return in Upper Class a couple weeks later, so I should be able to report back.
(slightly disappointed after reading through this thread, as it seems I’ll be missing out not getting Hermolis, but here’s hoping Food Story is good as well…)

@michab is hasn't started just yet. I flew from MAN-JFK, LHR-LOS and LHR-TLV all in the past month, and Hermolis provided all meals.

Interesting. I guess I’ll wait and see what happens in a month, and in a month and a half.

for JFK it says the supplier is Food Story and the meal is Regal, so Food Story it seems is also the LHR supplier but it didnt say whose meal will be served, could be Hermolis, does Hermolis have LBD on it besides Kedasier. I would be very surprised if it wasnt Hermolis

1) Hermolis has KLBD as well as Kedassia
2) "Food Story" is apparently a new UK supplier specially selected by Virgin for the Tel Aviv route. However, it seems they cannot provide Passover meals and Hermolis have (understandably) refused to take on just the Passover contract, so the current situation is not 100% clear. They have a website. Kosher Caterers in London - World Class Kosher Catering

Sounds like quite the complicated situation. I guess we’ll see what the situation is in the field in a few weeks. Wish me luck!
