Did anybody here manage to transfer more than 150k points to an airline program? If so, did you call in?
Whenever I want to transfer more than 150k, I always get an error message :s

On 20-8-2013 I redeemed 6000 Melia Rewards points into 3000 Miles and More (Lufthansa) miles, which posted to my M&M account some 3, 4 days later. But, now, on 31-8-2013 those miles have vanished from my M&M account, and there are also no original 6000 Melia Rewards points on my Melia account... even worse, my friend bought 8000 Melia points on 6-7-2013, and redeemed them for 4000 miles, which posted some days later... now, almost 2 months later, also those miles have vanished from his account... what the hell is happening?

As Melia is situated in the EU, this can be helpful:
http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/ecc/contact_en.htm
I will definetely fill out complaint form and demand either my money back or miles posted. It is unbeliavable that miles bought from MR and posted with M&M can in fact be taken back some 50 days later with no communication at all, no e-mail, nothing...

I did not see this mentioned in this thread. Admittedly, I didn't really look too hard.
Melia Rewards is partnered with points.com.
2500 Melia points, which is the minimum to exchange, is worth any of the following:
708 Aeroplan
833 Amtrak
1062 Asia Miles
624 Audience Rewards
531 Best Buy
494 Delta (Don't do this. It is better to exchange directly at 3:1)
1713 Esso
581 Frontier
4250 Greenpoints
988 Hawaiian
708 Iceland
494 JetBlue
658 LifeMiles
6640 Speedy
13,281 Suba
549 United
449 Virgin America
Unlike the direct transfer to Melia's partners, there seems to be no restriction on bonus points being transferred through points.com. This means that the 2000 bonus points for sign up can be used to pad FF accounts. Of course, another 500 MR are required to do use this method. But those 500 points aren't exceeding difficult to accrue. Referrals, JetBlue badges, orphaned miles, etc.
Naturally, I do not encourage anybody to ever use points.com unless it is a mileage expiration or threshold top off. Nevertheless, I do think it's worth noting.
