DL Plat looking for new home. Want to match/challenge to UA or CO but have a few questions first.
I know UA is matching EP and 1K right now. I know I can match UA EP as a DL PM with a 30 day 17.5K EQM challenge (according to ua.com). DL thread reports some DM's matching to 1K with a 30K EQM challenge.

Wow - are they including SWUs as well?

Are there any OneWorld or SkyTeam partners currently offering status matching?
I'm LH Gold and would like to status match OneWorld or SkyTeam partners.
I know Malev's offer, but I don't have a plan to fly them.

Any experience on the same?
I checked and am answering my own question, by stipulating the T&Cs I received:
*Qualifying flights: Purchased flights operated by United, United Express, Continental or Continental Connection with a United or Continental flight number and credited to the member’s Mileage Plus account. Flight(s) operated by United or Continental that have a partner’s codeshare flight number do not qualify. Flights operated by any other airline do not qualify.
Not good!

Does anyone have any experience or advice about getting TG to match status from another program? It doesn't seem to have been mentioned in this thread. I am currently AF Flying Blue Platinum based in Rome, but it looks like I'll be making extended trips to Thailand and traveling out of Bangkok, domestically and around Asia.
I do actually have a virtually inactive LH Miles and More account, too. I haven't flown any *A in ages, but I guess it's now a possibility. I see that their matching promotion is over, but I did send them an e-mail too, just to see. Has anyone had any luck with LH since their offer ended?
Finally, other than these two programs, is there anywhere else I should look within *A?

Well, I'll answer my own question:
"Thank you for your enquiry.
Unfortunately, we cannot comply with your request to match your Flying Blue status in Miles & More. The offer was only available from 27 April until 31 May 2011 so it is now too late to apply. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment caused.
If you wish to discover more about the fascinating world of miles, kindly visit our website www.miles-and-more.com.
Sincerely,
Your Miles & More Service Team"
Not surprising, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Well, I'll answer my own question:
Based on United Premier Exec, Frontier both comped and challenged me.
I received comp top tier status for two months and have to fly x number of segments during that time to retain.
However, even if I were to fly the required segments the status only lasts through 2/12.

Could it be possible??
Hello Gents,
I am a OW Emerald (BAEC Gold member), with a membership good for at least another 11 months. I have a few flights around asia with Singapore Airlines coming in the next few weeks and I was wondering if there was any way possible to get a status match with any Star Alliance carrier. That way I would get some nice perks for my coming bookings (full fare flexible).
Thank you very much in advance!

BD should match BA gold to *G, though you will probably need to fly a BD flight to qualify.
