Did anybody snag any Standard Rooms for 8/28-9/11/22?
Been checking daily for another chunk of room releases and just noticed they opened dates for 8/28-9/11/22 but they're all 500K points already. Did anybody manage to get them at 89K? Trying to figure out when/how they release rooms but it's proving impossible to predict.

Kepp looking. Nights will open up again. But you will need to diligent and look several times a day. Because if you don’t, others will be. Case in point, as the other poster said the entire calendar (all remaining days in 2021-June 2022) opened up a couple months ago, Within two weeks all the 89K nights were gone.

For those contemplating taking the free Air Tahiti shuttle to Vaitape, and then the Conrad shuttle from Vaitape to the resort, be aware that pricing seems to have changed if you're using the shuttle on the day of your arrival and/or departure. It's XPF 7500 roundtrip per person, versus XPF 15,000 for the airport shuttle. Given the currently reduced shuttle schedule between Vaitape and the resort, the limited cost savings may not be worth it if it means having to spend hours in town with all of your suitcases. (Note that the Tourist Information center is no longer holding bags "due to sanitary reasons.")

The Conrad 's boat transfer to and from the airport is XPF 15,000 per person roundtrip. You used to be able to take the free Air Tahiti shuttle from the airport to Vaitape, and then the Conrad shuttle from Vaitape to the resort for what I believe was around $15, which was a significant cost savings. The pricing for the Conrad shuttle from Vaitape to the resort is now XPF 7500 per person roundtrip if it is on your day of arrival or departure. (Which is higher than the XPF 2,200 they charge during the day time and XPF 4900 at night for the same shuttle when it's not the day of your arrival or departure.) Getting to the resort/airport via Vaitape may still be worth it depending on when your flights arrive/depart BOB, but the reduced cost savings under the current pricing structure, coupled with reduced transfer frequencies (four a day each way), might mean that it's no longer worth it.
