Not necessarily irrational.

But also doesn't really mean it isn't a topic others might enjoy reading about.

From a photography standpoint I actually love selfie sticks. Sure they look ridiculous but people tend to take better pictures with them, otherwise it's just "hey look at my face blocking the Eiffel Tower!"

It's funny this came up, I've been working on a post entitled In Defense of the Selfie Stick for quite a while.

Anyone who says "hey look at my face blocking the Eiffel Tower" doesn't know how to do a selfie right. I don't use a stick (I'd beat myself to death with it before I used it) and I take excellent selfies. It's almost impossible to tell they're even selfies in fact.

I agree completely, there's an art to composition and I feel like the selfie stick gives people a little more margin for error.

Weird how garbage like those delta things is still there "posting" daily...
And a cople of "titans" are racing who's gonna post more
Are they diversifying away from miles and points stuff? This past weekend I came across a boardingarea.com blog entry talking about asset forfeiture by law enforcement personnel in the US. I had to double check that I was still on boardingarea.com when I read that item.

Some of the most interesting conversations I've had while traveling started when I asked another person to take a photo of me.

Delta Points published a horribly written and utterly pointless review of the SLC Skyclub today. This was my favorite line:

The club is really nice sized

Anybody catch this?

Food Review: American Airlines Savory Snack Mix

... Since the mix does have seasoning on it, I wished the flight attendant would have passed out a moist toilette or hot towel prior to landing, though I made do with my napkin and a trip to the lavatory.

... It was pretty good, and I’d recommend grabbing a few packets – even just to munch on at a later time.

He seems to write a lot of similarly pointless reviews. Notice a link at the bottom to Chex Mix and Red Wine in Y.

I didn't know it was that guy's blog. There should have been a warning. I never would have clicked thru if I knew it was his. I guess it shows what kind of posts you get when one is forced to write original content.
