The real question, uk1 and indianwells, is how long do you spend cooking each day?

Salivating. That is the only way I like duck, slow cooked with a crisp skin. Never liked it pink, always seems to be a little tough.

Today, I made her a freshly squeezed orange and almond Madeira muffin with a couple of drops of Grand Marnier. She scoffed it whilst making tea!

Peasant street food again today with mugs of Rioja.
Turkish lahmacun ... and this was the outcome and the journey to it .....
This stuff is sold in places like Adana and you buy it, drop some salad on the top, fold it over and scoff it. Hope others find it interesting.

For dinner, a bowl with stuffing and gravy on one side and sweet corn on the other.
It was going to be a roast chicken thigh, stuffing, gravy, and sweet corn, until Sweet Baboo came home and looked at the plate of chicken thighs and said, "I'm starving; I could eat all of those."
:: sigh .. you go ahead then ... it's Lent anyway ... ::

Way too much!
I was down in Fayetteville, NC and went to an Italian place where their big appetizer is "pizza fries". So I had some french fries with marinara and pepperoni then an order of chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and bread.
