After reading this trip report on FT I booked a First Class award to fly NRT-ICN on Asiana 744 in April 2014. I believe there was only one daily flight with F on this route. Unfortunately OZ suspended the First Class service between NRT and ICN shortly before I had a chance to try it.

According to this trip report the video linked looks like from a flight in the First Class cabin but with a Business Class service.

Since the only reason to fly NRT-ICN was to experience OZ F, I changed the award to fly HND-GMP in Business with a similar timing as the one above.

Haneda to Gimpo
One World: Japan
Star: ANA, Asiana

and probably some LCCs.

Haneda to Incheon
Peach

Will be interesting to see how it plays out. I am thinking someone will arrange a lounge meet up at the airport in Tokyo.
Thanks for the info

Approx what time are you thinking for Sun eve meeting?

I'm looking at OW flights;

JL91 @ 08:25-10:45
Or
JL93 @ 15:40-18:00

Nothing in-between

Thanks, that's what I figured. I guess I'll have to take the 08:25 flt & miss out on any pot lounge meet ups.

You look at both ICN and GMP as destinations?

I found a bus class seat on OZ103, NRT>ICN. Is this the flight you are talking about? My info (seat guru, which is not always correct) shows this as a three cabin 747 with 1st in the nose & bus up stairs.

I'm looking at this as a possible.

Yes, OZ103 sounds like the flight featured in the trip report I mentioned earlier. Some Business Class passengers may be able to sit in the First Class cabin but with a Business Class service.

You can change my status from "Tentative" to "Confirmed" I was able to change my existing flight reward to include a leg to Seoul.

OZ1055: HND 10:00 Arrive at GMP 12:20

I'll be in Seoul until April 20 before resuming my regularly scheduled vacation to HKG/Macau!

See you there.
