4. Domestic in-flight service
ANA offers two classes of service on flights within Japan: economy on all routes and Premium Class on some aircraft on selected routes.
ECONOMY
In economy, water, tea, apple juice, coffee, and beef consommé soup are provided free of charge, while other drinks and food are available via the My Choice program.
PREMIUM CLASS
Premium Class passengers receive lounge access, complimentary in-flight drinks and food, priority boarding, an increased baggage allowance and other benefits. A hot meal is available on the HND-ITM/CTS/FUK routes; on other routes, a cold meal (bento/sandwich and soup) is served. (Special meal requests are not accepted for Premium Class bookings [link]).
Note that domestic Japan sectors on international business or first class itineraries book into economy, not Premium Class.
UPGRADES
Passengers may upgrade to Premium Class on a space-available basis on the day of their flight for 8,250 JPY (tax included) per segment or four Upgrade Points. Note that this will increase to 9,000 JPY (tax included) from March 29, 2015.
LOUNGES
ANA operates an extensive system of domestic lounges. They offer free wireless internet, free soft drinks and alcohol, and packets of crackers. ANA is currently embarking on a major domestic lounge expansion/renovation program. A list of lounges and their status is provided below. (All airports have one domestic lounge unless otherwise noted.) Lounge access is available for all Star Gold and Premium Class passengers; other passengers can purchase access for 3,000 JPY per person per entry.
Further information on domestic lounges is available here.
FLIGHTS USING INTERNATIONAL CONFIGURATIONS
Some domestic flights are flown with internationally-configured aircraft to more efficiently utilize aircraft that would otherwise be parked. This list is not exhaustive and is subject to change at any time.

5. ANA Mileage Club
There are four tiers within the Mileage Club program: Member, Bronze (BRZ), Platinum (PLT), and Diamond (DIA). PLT and DIA members can apply for the Super Flyers Card, which provides benefits as long as the cardmember remains in good standing.
PREMIUM POINT / BONUS MILEAGE ACCRUAL
ANA International Flights
ANA Domestic Flights
Star Alliance / Partner Airlines
Elite status is determined by how many Premium Points (PP) are accumulated between January 1 and December 31 each year; elite status is recognized between April 1 and March 31 of the following year. The month after a particular level is achieved, ANA offers most of the benefits (excluding upgrade points and DIA gifts) for the remainder of the elite year as "Advance Service".
Accrual of PPs is determined by the following formula:
(Basic segment mileage) x (Class/fare ratio) x (Route ratio) + (Boarding points)
Booking class ratios for international ANA group flights from Japan are as follows:
Route ratios are as follows:
In addition to Premium Points, elite members also accumulate bonus miles on certain flights. These, however, do not count towards the necessary PP total for elite status. Bonus mile accrual varies by elite status.
REQUIREMENTS
* ANA Wide Gold Card, ANA Diner's Club Card, ANA American Express Gold Card, or ANA Card Premium cardholders are exempted from the requirement to have 15,000 PP on ANA group flights
BENEFITS
The benefits that ANA Mileage Club members receive include bonus miles, upgrade points, priority baggage handling, waitlisting priority, dedicated reservations/support lines, lounge access, and more. For full details of the benefits of each tier, please see the respective pages on the ANA site. ANA gold or premium cardholders receive an additional 5% bonus miles.
Bronze
Super Flyers Card Member
More information and card types
For SFC status to be maintained, no flying is required, but the annual fee must be paid from a Japanese bank account. As a result, this card is limited only to those with a Japanese bank account and credit history.
Platinum
Diamond
Same as Platinum, except:
MILLION MILER PROGRAM
For AMC members who reach certain lifetime mileage thresholds, ANA has announced certain benefits:
500,000 miles on NH metal
One million miles on NH and Star Alliance partner metal
One million miles on NH metal
Two million miles on NH metal
Three million miles on NH metal
OTHER INFORMATION
ANA Card Family Miles program (for residents of Japan) and the ANA Family Account Service (AFA) (for non-residents) allows pooling of miles for AMC members within the same family.
Some AMC cards come with Edy functionality, an e-money system widely used in Japan. For every 200 JPY spent members can accrue one mile; 10,000 miles can be redeemed for 10,000 JPY in Edy value.
For Japan-resident members, ANA allows miles to be converted into Sky Coins at varying rates. Sky Coins can be used in place of cash (1 Sky Coin = 1 JPY) when purchasing domestic/international tickets (on itineraries only with flights on ANA flight numbers), ANA tour packages, and other ANA travel products.
There are four tiers within the Mileage Club program: Member, Bronze (BRZ), Platinum (PLT), and Diamond (DIA). PLT and DIA members can apply for the Super Flyers Card, which provides benefits as long as the cardmember remains in good standing.

8. Frequently asked questions
Q: Will ANA interline (i.e. "forward") my baggage to/from another carrier?
A: ANA has interline agreements with the following carriers:
Q: What lounges can I use?
A: Please refer to the specific airport you are departing from here. When departing Japan, first class passengers can use the two ANA Suite Lounges and the United International First Class Lounge (Narita) or the two ANA Suite Lounges (Haneda), while business class and Star Alliance Gold passengers can use the two ANA Lounges or the United Club (Narita) or the two ANA Lounges (Haneda). Passengers in premium economy, those eligible for the Economy Class Pleasant-Trip Service, or those using lounge certificates are eligible to use any of the ANA Lounges. ANA first/business class passengers and Diamond/Platinum/SFC passengers arriving at Narita on ANA-operated international flights can use the ANA Arrival Lounge.
Q: Does ANA provide sleepwear (pajamas), and if so, can I take them home?
A: Yes, sleepwear is provided for first and business class passengers on Europe/USA routes, and may be taken home. At the end of the flight the purser/CA may even provide an extra, unused set for you to take home. ANA also provides a woolen sweater in first and business classes (selected long-haul/Asian routes) to wear if you are cold, but this is only for use during the flight and is washed and reused. (Note that some FTers have reported that ANA has only a limited number of sleepwear sets available in business class and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.)
Q: Is there an amenity kit?
A: A Samsonite amenity kit is provided in First Class. Business class passengers on routes to Europe and North America (excluding Hawaii) are provided with an L'Occitane amenity kit. On other routes, amenity goods are available in baskets on board for business class passengers to take as necessary.
Q: Are pre-departure beverages served?
A: Yes, in both first and business classes on long-haul international flights. Depending on the time of day a selection of juice, water, and champagne is offered.
Q: Does ANA offer discounted paid upgrades? Will ANA involuntarily upgrade ("op-up") me?
A: On international routes, ANA does not offer discounted paid upgrades to any class of service, but you can typically upgrade yourself by paying the fare difference at check-in. On routes where PY is available, ANA elite members (and occasionally non-ANA Star Alliance Gold members) are upgraded to PY on a space-available basis. On domestic routes, same-day upgrades to Premium Class are available (see above).
Q: What are "shareholder discount coupons (株主優待券)" and how can I use them?
A: Twice a year, ANA offers discount coupons to its shareholders that provide a 50% discount off regular domestic economy and Premium Class fares. The appropriate shareholder discount fares must be booked and a valid discount coupon must be provided at check-in. The coupons themselves are often resold on auction sites and at ticket shops throughout Japan, but this practice is not officially endorsed by ANA.
Q: How do I reserve a seat in the first class cabin when it is sold as business class on some short-haul routes?
A: If you hold a full-fare business class ticket (booking class "C"), you may select seats online in the first class cabin after purchase. Otherwise, only certain ANA elite members (typically Diamond, but sometimes other NH elites) may be allowed to select these seats at check-in.
Q: How much will taxes and fees be on my award redemption made though AMC?
A: ANA charges all taxes and fees (including fuel surcharges) as would be applicable for a paid ticket with the same itinerary. You can recreate your booking using ITA Matrix, which will give you a breakdown of all taxes and fees required. (Please note that some airlines, such as US, SQ, and OZ, charge fees that are not shown in the breakdown on ITA, so please check the fare rules to be sure.) You can also ask other members in our consolidated fuel surcharge questions thread.
Q: Does ANA provide a hotel (STopover Paid by Carrier: STPC) for passengers making an overnight transit in Japan?
A: In general, no. Please contact ANA or your travel agent to confirm.
Q: What booking class is my domestic fare?
A: The following seems to be what booking class each domestic fare books into on ANA and United:
Q: What other special benefits are available for Diamond members?
A: There are some unpublished/unpublicized special benefits provided to Diamond members when flying on NH, including:

9. Aircraft configurations (work in progress)
Depending on the route and aircraft on which you are traveling, the configuration of the onboard product will vary. This sheet will attempt to track the various configurations for all aircraft used on international routes as well as on the 787 Dreamliner by registration code. Note that, barring last-minute equipment changes, you can also check which configuration will be used on your aircraft at check-in. Aircraft registrations can be looked up on Flightradar24 to see where they have flown recently.
Much of this information was translated from the excellent list maintained here; this information is entirely unofficial and subject to change without notice.
(Note: items in italics are for aircraft yet to be delivered.)
