I am on a Saver F flight ANC-SEA-CDG later tonight. This was the only itinerary I could find with F on all of the AS flights and J on AF, so I am looking forward to the trip.

I have a former son-in-law that lives in Grosse Point. It is a very nice neighborhood. The city itself is past sketchy and I was told to avoid it. The Ford Rouge plant and lots of other stuff make the surrounding area worth the visit.

Did this flight yesterday DTW-SEA, flight was 100% full with no empty seats

Flight crew and Cabin crew were outstanding, food was great, service with the 3-course meal and warm nuts all pretty fantastic up in the F cabin.

PDB was offered including White and Red wine, Alaskan Amber, and water. PDB top ups were offered! No pillows or blankets were available, I think that's only for true transcons?

Is the DEQM still running for NEW tickets purchased? I thought they had to be booked in a certain window?

So are the FAs fighting over this flight, or hoping to avoid the draw?

I'm not seeing anything about purchase date in the T&C.

Seems like there are plenty that are excited to be going there. As time goes on, and the newness wears off, it probably won't be as popular as Hawaii but won't be one of the less popular layovers either.

In the original DEQM offer, registration had to occur by July 15.

They brought it back without a registration deadline, other than "register before you fly."

0. No need for EQM. Been done with status for months thanks to the DL F fares to HNL that and in burn mode.

I'm only going 3 times so far, but trying to work in a 4th.

I have a sister near DTW, and am still trying to decide whether or not to tell her about the runs. "BTW, I'm flying across the country to your city 4 times in the next 30 days, but I don't have time to meet up with you, sorry."

If you have time you could make trip #4 an overnighter and then you wouldn't feel bad about the other 3 trips that you didn't have time to meet up. My wife and I took a UA MR to DTW last year and I think we got the Marriott at DTW for a $49 bid (or close to it) on Priceline....definitely one of the cheaper Priceline cities!
