Compensation for cancelled flight
I was notified at 10:26am that my flight on August 16th from YOW -YYZ-YVR departing at 1345 and arriving in Vancouver at 1804 was canceled due to no crew available and I was rescheduled on a flight from YOW to YVR leaving at 1745 and arriving at 2015. Am I entitled to compensation? I was told I would get an email which I am still waiting on. Is there a standard amount for cancellations by airlines?

They may send you complimentary WestJet dollars for $100 or so that are valid for a short period, such as 6 months.
