The rules for delay or cancellation are based on arrival at destination relative to scheduled time and donít come into effect until 15 Dec, no compensation will be due in this case for a delay less than 3 hours in arrival.

They may send you complimentary WestJet dollars for $100 or so that are valid for a short period, such as 6 months.
