73 for me. I had to look at a map to remember some of the smaller ones I flew into on commuter airlines 20 some years ago.

IDA was my only unscheduled airport visit. I was on a frontier airlines flight from DEN to Seattle 1999-ish and we made an emergency landing in IDA after one of the engines was shut down in flight due to an engine fire. Now that was an exciting landing

Do I really want to count?!

That would take a while, and I could only accurately go back to 2000 as that is when I started logging my flights and really paying attention.

I think I have been to more than 50 US airports...but will only take the time to count and post here if I have dull moment.

Homes in bold -- I guess when you live a lot of places, it follows that you fly through a lot of airports.

After December I'll have added PHX, COS, and SLC to the list.

In a not dissimilar list, I come up with 72 US (a number of which are gone today) domestics, a coupe of dozen foreign on airlines, and a heap of militaries and foreign domestic airports on US or NATO flights. Well over 120 in all, and still trying to remember all the misspent days of my youth. Of course, most of them are in the "Long Time Ago" cupboard.

There's always Leeward Point, GITMO for unusual..... Decomanni will not be on many lists, while Sigonella may crop up on a few. Palermo/Trapani....Templehof and Gatow
