US? Not too many: JFK, EWR, LGA, IAD, LAX, SFO.

If we go international it gets a bit more interesting: MEL, SYD, OOL, BNE, MCY, SIN, BKK, HKG, TLV, VIE, ATH, FRA, LHR, CDG, GOT, AMS, LYS, JNB, YYZ, YUL, AKL.

i think another good question would be what's the one airport you've been to that more than likely nobody else has?

i browsed through some people and didn't see ACY (atlantic city)
so that's my rare one!

More than I thought - I don't have good records pre-1995 so I may have missed a few - total 49 domestic:

PHX SFO SNA DEN BDL DCA IAD MCO RSW APF TPA ATL ORD DEC PIA CMI EVV MSY BOS BWI DTW STL MCI CLT RDU GSO EWJ LAS BUF SWF JFK LGA HPN ALB YNG CVG MFD PDX PIT PHL ERI CHS MYR CAE GSP TRI DFW MKE Houston (which one???)

Least-favorite small - HPN in the early 1990's - two separate buildings for arrivals and departures, no place to sit......
Favorite small - CHS, used to have a great little icecream place with tasty waffle cones, and the restaurant made a nice nachos dish that probably seems better than it really was - washed down with a cold beverage on a Friday night before catching a flight home it was a good thing. Also the rental cars were right out the door, and the Hertz folks used to take good care of me. That was TEN years ago, wow.
Having trouble with best/worst of the big ones....... they all have good and bad points. Guess I'd have to give PIT the nod for good large - it's home, and there's a nice variety. It is sadly quiet these days, though.

On the "most unusual" - ERI, DEC, PIA, CMI, MFD, YNG are probably not on too many lists....but not really exotic, just small. (Erie PA, Decatur IL, Peoria IL, Champaign IL, Mansfield OH, Youngstown OH)

LGA, BOS, DFW

I thought putting home airports in bold was cool so I did that.

121 Total: 62 Domestic/52 International/7 Corporate Domestic

This is start/finish destinations only - can't begin to remember all the connections.

Least favorite overall - CDG
Favorite big - ORD (but I have a soft spot for anything Chicago). Semi-big - MDW before they remodelled.
Favorite small - PSP. AGS is nice and has great personnel, but delays due to ATL ATC are too frequent, and you're stuck with dealing with ASA through ATL.

Total - 121, 114 commercial, 7 additional private, no military (Changzhi CIH is recently converted PLA military).

Domestic – 61
CAK, ATL, AGS, AUS, BWI, BOS, BRO, CID, CHS, CLT, CHA, MDW, ORD, CVG, BKL, CLE, CAE, CMH, DFW, DAL, DAY, DIA, DEN, DSM, DTW, DET (Detroit City - Defunct), ELP, FNT, RSW, GRR, HRL, IAH, HOU, JAX, MCI, LAS, LEX, LIT, LAX, SDF, MFE, MEM, MSP, BNA, JFK, LGA, EWR, OKC, ONT, MCO, PSP, PHX, PIT, RDU, RIC, SFO, SBN, STL, IAD, DCA, TXK, LAX

International – 48

Checked a list and it was far more than I had thought it might be. 92 in the US in about 25 years of traveling. Lot of traveling when I was with the Justice Department, and some nationwide litigation I was involved in increased the list substantially. Too lazy to list em all though.

Most unique airport? Tie between CLD Carlsbad, CA (served by UA/UX) and CLM Port Angeles (service recently discontinued by AS/QX).

Worst airport? MIA when connecting from AA to CO, awful.

Canadian:

From West to East...

YYJ Victoria, BC
YCD Nanaimo, BC
YVR Vancouver, BC
YXX Abbotsford, BC
YXS Prince George, BC
YYF Penticton, BC

YYC Calgary, AB
YEG Edmonton, AB
YWG Winnipeg, MB
YXU London, ON
YYZ Toronto Pearson, ON
YOW Ottawa, ON
YUL Montreal Dorval/Trudeau, QC
(Total 16)

Best airport? YYF hands-down. Breakable wine cases are the biggest concern for security. Also, I can drive from my relatives on the lake to the airport in less than 5 mins and head straight for the plane. Albeit, only B1900s and Dash-8s serve YYF these days.
