How Many U.S. Airports Have You Flown Into/Out Of?
(Since the old "How Many U.S. Airports Have You Flown From Commercially" thread did not survive the changeover, I'm re-creating the opening post)
How many U.S. airports have you flown to/from or connected through? "Rules": 1) Only commercial flights (if you're a private pilot and have flown from or through a commercial airport, that doesn't count); 2) New and old airports in the same city count (e.g., DIA and Stapleton); 3) new terminals on the same property don't count (e.g., ONT); 3) Flights can either have originated or connected through the airport. 4) A flight that made a stop (and you didn't get off the plane) counts. Other questions? Make up your own rules. :D For extra credit, cite you favorite big, favorite small, least favorite overall, favorite hub, and least favorite hub. (thanks to Deacon for reminding me that these were part of the orginial) My total: 103 Favorite small: PSP or ITO; Favorite big: SFO; Least favorite: ORD; Favorite hub: DEN (for connecting) and SFO (for originating); Least Favorite hub: ORD Details: (roughly from left to right coast, and north to south) LIH HNL MKK OGG KOA ITO SEA YKM EAT PSC PDX EUG RDD ACV STS SMF OAK SFO SJC MRY MOD VIS FAT BFL SBA LAX ONT SNA CLD SAN IPL YUM RNO LAS BOI GTF MSO SLC PRC IGM PHX PUB COS DEN DIA DRO ABQ ELP OMA ICT SLN TUL OKC AMA LBB MAF DFW ACT AUS IAH HOU CRP FSD FAR MSP UIN DSM CID MLI MCI STL MSY MSN MKE ORD MDW BMI IND SDF MEM BNA BHM ATL MCO FLL CLE DAY CMH CVG LGA EWR PIT JFK ORH DCA IAD CAE CLT BVT BGR PWM BOS PVD Yours? |
