I made the call a short while ago and simply told the CSR that I'd received an email several days ago saying I would receive 1000 miles but that I was just looking online at my account and the miles are not yet there. She apologized that they had not posted yet and posted them while I waited on the line. Too bad it took a phone call but I'm happy I got the miles.

Two minutes phone call resulted in easy 1000 miles. Thanks to the heads up.

I am CP, fly twice a week, and am signed up for the email subscription but never received any email about 1,000 miles.

Should I call in anyway? Why do you think I never received an email?

Yeah, Yeah, same story as everyone else. I received the first bull email then the oops one and to be honest would of left it at that if not for the perseverance and support of the members of FlyerTalk.

Thank you FlyerTalk community. You gave me the number to call and shared your success with all of us and this inspired me to call today and I now have the extra 1,000 miles in my account.

If any of us accidentally booked an incorrect flight and a week later sent U.S. Air an oops email they would tell us to go to hell and charge us $150 for a change of flight. So whats good for the goose is good for the gander.

Time for all members who have persevered and received the 1000 miles to thump and beat our chests.

BOO YAH !!! Love Ya FlyerTalk ^

Thanks for the advise to call- Just got my 1,000 miles posted!
Hated to see that OOPS,that did leave me with an unfavorable opinion on sending that Email out to begin with, they should have left well enough alone and gave it to all they promised to begin with.

Like others, I was just going to let this slide until I remembered the couple times a few years ago I wanted a soda/ water on the plane and I was shaken down for $2 each time. Once I'm done posting, I will be calling back for the rest of my family.

Thanks fellow FTers for giving me the motivation to seek out these miles.
