I'll requalify 2P for next year very easily now based off this promo (UA is my backup airline to a certain Atlanta-based airline...).

The way I read the T&C your trip should qualify, providing you purchased it as an e-ticket. Another ambiguity is whether registration is required before travel. Since the T & C do not expressly so state, I'm assuming it isn't; but to be on the safe side, I'd register asap. (I did note that government fares are ineligible. Don't recall if the Spring DEQM promo also made them ineligible.)

Does the fact that the registration period is September 3 to December 15 mean that everyone who's registering today should make sure to re-register tomorrow?

Whoo Hoo!! 1K for the 1st time. Nice surprise UA ^

By my spreadsheet I'll end the year with ~140K. Now to decide if I should go for 150K and the extra SWUs.

hmmph. SOME of us just flew a TATL round trip this past weekend.
On the other hand, my 5-month-old grandson will make 2P based on the doubling of his ORD-SIN trip home later this month.

And some are leaving on one this weekend. Sometimes you win, sometimes... not so much.

Terms suggest everyone:

1. Offer valid for all Mileage Plus members.

The fact that this is the second time this year UA has offered DEQM and the fact that it runs almost to the end of the year shows how bad things are this year.

Essentially, UA has thrown up its proverbial hands out of frustration in hopes of keeping it's loyal/elite flying base when nobody is flying.
