I will not be 1K in 2008.

It will feel bizarre after being 1K continously during the last 10 or so years. This is not due to the no 2xEQM promotion but to no travels because of health reasons/accident.

I don't know. It just seems that there was a lot of interest in the program both positive (folks who used it) and negative (folks who didn't like other folks earning status "the easy way", i.e., "lite").

As for me, my butt's back in a seat for MRs on 11/6 and 11/13 to ensure 1K.

As for me, I don't think I can stomach any MRs this year but I sure am doing better planning for next year to make 1K. A trip to OZ in August sounds lovely. :)

Hmmm. I just found out work is sending me to the eastcoast in early December for a 4 day trip. After that trip completes I'll be roughly 12K miles short of making 1K status for 2008. Now the internal debate will begin if it's worth doing a MR to LHR/MUC/FRA or a shorter one transcon-USA and buying some EQMs by using RDMs.

Hehe, it only is because of the time and money involved. Maybe if a QUP can be found cheap it'll work out with some EQMs being bought.

I would like to make 1K, but my life won't end if I don't ... since I've never been one and don't really know how much better is it on "the other side".
